VENTED CONTAINER LID ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A vented container lid assembly provides improved flow characteristics. The vented container lid assembly may include an assembly surface, container, flow component, flow flap, flow aperture, vent component, vent flap, vent aperture, tab component, opening facilitator and lid assembly and container connection components. A method to operate a vented container lid assembly providing improved flow characteristics using the vented container lid assembly is also provided.
Container end closure with a score feature
An end closure for food and beverage containers is provided. The end closure comprises a score fracture force reduction feature. Thus, less force is required by a user to fracture the score and open the opening in the end closure. In one embodiment, the score fracture force reduction feature is a collapsible form raised above the center panel and having a score line and a coined area.
Mechanical pressure relief valve for use in live beverages
A pressure actuated pressure relief valve is disposed in the body of a beverage vessel and is configured to be in fluidic communication with an exterior of the beverage vessel and an interior of the beverage vessel. The pressure actuated pressure relief valve being configured to actuate from a closed position to an open position based on pressure reaching a threshold within the interior of the beverage vessel. The pressure actuated pressure relief valve being configured to actuate from the open position to the closed position based on pressure falling below the threshold within the interior of the beverage vessel.
VENTED CONTAINER END CLOSURE
A metallic container end closure is provided that generally comprises a dispensing opening and a vent opening. The vent opening improves pourability through the dispensing opening and provides an alternative option for consuming the contents of the container. The end closure may include features to ease opening of the vent opening, such as stiffeners and/or vent form features.

Beverage container for forming a head on a poured beverage
A beverage container for a nitrogenated beverage comprises at least two restricted outlet apertures (11, 12) configured to, when pouring therefrom into a secondary vessel, form jets of beverage that impinge downstream. Impingement initiates nucleation of dissolved nitrogen gas in the beverage and, as such, when poured into the vessel a creamy head of fine nitrogen/mixed gas bubbles can be formed. The restricted outlet apertures can be formed in a plate (10) over an openable mouth of the beverage container, or directly upon the container. Preferably a vent (14) or some other feature is included to increase the velocity of the jets.
VENTED BEVERAGE CAN AND CAN END
A beverage can end has a vent (40) that includes a button (50). The vent is actuated by downward force of a pull tab (70) that is transmitted to the vent score (42) through the button. The center panel (18) includes beads.
CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT FOR THE OPENING OF A BEVERAGE CAN
The can (L) comprises an end wall (10) having a first wall portion and a second wall portion (11, 12), which are broken in order to form a pouring opening (A1) and a vent opening (A2), and an actuation tab (30) pivoted in the end wall (10) and having a pressing end portion (31) and an extracting end portion (32). The first and the second wall portions (11, 12) are ruptured by the pressing end portion (31) and by the extracting end portion (32), upon the pivoting movement of the actuation tab (30) by applying a manual upward force to its extracting end portion (32). The actuation tab (30) further comprises a grip portion (33) having a hinge end (33a), affixed to the extracting end portion (32), and a free end (33b), the grip portion (33) being manually, angularly and upwardly displaced, around its hinge end (33a), from a retracted inoperative condition, in which it remains contained between the end wall (10) and the plane of an adjacent peripheral edge (21) of the can (L), and an operative condition, in which it has its free end (33b) projecting upwardly from the plane of said peripheral edge (21) of the can (L).
