A closure for a lid that has at least one opening may include an activator pivotally coupled to the lid, a cover pivotally coupled to the lid, and a connecting member pivotally coupled to the activator and the cover. The activator, the cover and the connecting member may form an over center latching mechanism. In addition, the activator may be pivotally connected to the lid about a first axis of rotation, the cover may be pivotally connected to the lid about a second axis of rotation, the connecting member may pivotally connected to the activator about a third axis of rotation, and the connecting member may be pivotally connected to the cover about a fourth axis of rotation. The distance between the first and second axes of rotation may be constant, and the distance between the third and fourth axes of rotation may change as the cover is moved.

Quickly-sealing cover
10029833 · 2018-07-24 · ·

A quickly-sealing cover having a cover body matched with a cup body or bottle body, in which the lower end of cover body is partially embedded. The outer wall at the lower end is equipped with an inward-retracted bevel edge, forming a wedge-shaped opening surrounding the lower end. Below the cover body a push pedal is flexibly installed on which a sealing ring is equipped. The upper edge of the sealing ring is opposite the wedge-shaped opening. The upper edge of the sealing ring is embedded into the wedge-shaped opening when the push pedal moves upward. This achieves a perfect sealing effect between cover body and cup body or bottle body. The cover is firmly attached to the mouth edge of cup body or bottle body due to static friction force increased, without screw connection, thus the mouth edge may be in any form in addition to circle.

CONTAINER WITH MAGNETIC CAP

A container having a canister can be configured to retain a volume of liquid. The canister can be sealed by a lid structure, and the lid structure can have a spout opening. The spout opening may be sealed by a removably-coupled cap. Further, the cap may have a magnetic top surface configured to magnetically couple to a recess on the top surface of the lid for temporary storage of the cap when manually removed from the spout opening. Further, the lid structure may have one or more of an integrated anti-glug venting feature within the removable lid and cap or handle indexing.

A central handle is affixed at a proximal end to and projects from the base and has an outer, grasping surface and an inner surface. The handle preferably has a shape that allows the outer surface of one handle to nest in the inner surface of the handle of another of the lids. The lid preferably includes an annular lip or tabs that project transverse to the plane of the base to prevent the lid from sliding off the rim of the glass.
