Locking beverage container
A locking beverage container includes a container and a complementary removably securable lid. The lid includes a drinking aperture, a flap, and a lock. The drinking aperture is in fluid communication with the container when the lid is secured to the container and can be utilized by an individual to drink the contents of the container. The flap can be moved to a closed position to cover the drinking aperture to prevent access to the drinking aperture and contents of the container. The lock is operably connected to the flap and can selectively lock the flap in a closed position such that the flap cannot be moved by an unauthorized individual. The lock can also be unlocked thereby enabling the flap to move and enabling the individual to access and utilize the drinking aperture again.
MIXING BOTTLE AND METHOD THEREFOR
A mixing bottle has a container having an open top area. A cover is removably coupled to the container and covering the open top area. A first opening is formed in a top surface of the cover to dispense the contents stored within the container. A second opening is formed in a center area of the top surface of the cover. A mixing device is positioned within the container and extends out of the second opening in the cover.
All-Glass Travel Mug
A beverage container for hot or cold beverages, where the lid and base are connected via a glass joint. The glass joint forms a seal between the lid and base and eliminates the need for a synthetic material to form such a seal. The base has a double wall construction forming a cavity between the two walls. One or more of the surfaces facing the cavity are coated with a thermally reflective coating, which along with the glass materials, reduces heat transfer to the external surroundings. The lid is formed by a glass shell with an internal cavity, where the internal surfaces defining the cavity are optionally coated with a thermally reflective coating to further insulate the beverage container. A vent hole may be formed in a bottom of a dual-walled beverage container to prevent the formation of a vacuum. The outer surface of an inner wall of a dual-walled beverage container may have an inductively couplable layer secured to the inner wall to permit heating of fluids.
Container assembly
A container assembly has a cup-shaped container, a lid body, a spout, a spout cover, and a spout cover securement, or lock. The lid body has a depending periphery that releasably mounts to the cup-shaped container. The lid body has a matrix extending within the periphery. The spout seat is located eccentrically and inwardly of the periphery. It has a root and a tip. The spout cover is movably mounted to the spout cover seat. When closed, the spout cover seals the spout. The lock moves between a first position and a second positon. In the first position the lock keeps the spout cover sealed to the tip. In the second position the spout cover securement permits motion of said spout cover to open. The lid is stackable on other lids. The container assembly cup comes in several forms, the different forms being mutually stacking.
Edible cap
An edible cap for selectively covering an open end of a cup includes an edible flat body, an edible wax layer and an edible film. The edible flat body is in the form of a cap. The edible flat body is a solid body including a top portion and a wall extending around the top portion in a circle of a certain diameter to provide a profile in compliance with the open end of the cup. The wall includes an opening for receiving the open end of the cup. The edible wax layer is attached to a face of the edible flat body. The edible film is attached to a face of the edible wax layer opposite to the flat body in a detachable manner.
SPILL PREVENTING CONTAINER LID
A spill-preventing lid for a container comprises a lid body having a top, a bottom, a peripheral flange and a drink opening through the body from the bottom to the top, and a spill-preventing baffle, the baffle comprising a wall extending downwardly from the bottom of the lid body, the baffle having a top and a bottom, the top of the baffle communicating with the drink opening, at least one opening in the bottom, and a passage leading from the at least one opening in the bottom to the top, allowing liquid to flow from the container into the baffle, though the passaged defined by the baffle and to the drink opening, the at least one opening in the bottom being substantially smaller in dimension than the dimension of the drink opening.
Beverage Container Sleeve and Plug and Method of Manufacturing Same
A plug for use with a beverage container that can optionally be integrated into a sleeve. The sleeve can be made of a single layer of paper-based material that is embossed on one surface with protrusions that mimic the fluting of traditional single-layer corrugate. Some embodiments also have a second flat linerboard layer attached to the first embossed layer. The sleeve material can feature perforations that surround a protrusion making the plug removable from the sleeve. In addition, the flattened portion of the plug can contain a cutout portion that makes it easier for the user to grip a section of the flattened portion of the plug.
Insulated drinking vessel with multifunction lid
The present embodiments describe an insulated drinking vessel with a multifunction lid. In an embodiment, the drinking vessel can be configured to receive a multifunction lid. The multifunction lid may, in one embodiment, include an opening for receiving a drinking straw. In an embodiment, the multifunction lid may additionally include an opening for drinking or sipping directly through the lid. In an embodiment, the lid may include an operable cover for covering at least one of the openings in a first position and for allowing access to the fluid through the opening in a second position. In a further embodiment, the lid may include a plurality of operable covers. A first operable cover may be configured for covering the drinking straw opening in a first position and allowing insertion of a straw in a second position. The lid may also include an operable cover for covering the sipping spout in a first position and allowing drinking directly through the spout in a second position.
Drink cup lid
A liquid container includes a cup having a brim forming an opening into an interior region of the cup. The container also includes a lid configured to mount on the brim of the cup to close the opening.
Paper-based container lids and methods for making the same
A paper-based container lid comprises a top wall, a side wall connecting to the top wall, and a sealing channel formed on the side wall for sealingly engaging a rim of the container and securing the lid to the container, wherein the top wall and the side wall are preferably formed from separate blanks.
