LID AND A CONTAINER ASSEMBLY HAVING THE LID
Provided is a lid having a lid body and multiple ribs. The lid body has an extending portion and a connecting portion connected with the extending portion. The extending portion is formed with an opening at one end distal to the connecting portion. The connecting portion protrudes outwardly along the lid's radial direction, and one end of the connecting portion distal to the extending portion dents inwardly to form an annular containing space. Multiple ribs are formed protruding on where the extending portion is adjacent to the connecting portion. Also provided is a container assembly including the lid and a cup body having a cup rim. With one end of the connecting portion distal to the extending portion continuously denting toward inside of the lid body, the cup rim and the connecting portion can be tightly engaged.
FOOD CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Provided are a food container which is formed to have a sealing moiety integrated with a lid or a container body and is not easily deformed when heated by a microwave oven or the like, so as to be capable of keeping a sealed state, and a method for manufacturing the food container. A food container 10 has a container body 11 having, in the upper surface thereof, an opening 111, and a lid 12 fittable to the container body 11 to close the opening 111. In the lid 12 or the container body 11, a sealing moiety 13 is located which makes the periphery of the opening 111 in a sealed state under a situation that the opening 111 is closed by the lid 12. The sealing moiety 13 includes an elastomer composition which includes a hydrogenated styrene based block copolymer A that has a weight-average molecular weight of 100,000 to 500,000, a softener B for rubber that has a weight-average molecular weight of 500 or more, and an olefin based resin C, and which has a hardness A of 5 to 70 both inclusive, and a compressive permanent strain (CS) of 60% or less at 100 C. over 24 hours. The sealing moiety is formed to be integrated with the lid or the container body, and the lid 12 or the container body 11 includes a polypropylene.

Tamper-Evident Containers
A tamper-evident container formed by thermoforming includes a tub having a bottom and a sidewall forming an interior volume. The lid edge has an inner portion and an outer portion with a perforated section therebetween. The perforated section extends continuously around the entire periphery of the lid, whereby the outer portion forms a tamper-evident seal removable from the inner portion for removing the lid from the tub. Texture elements are distributed around the outer portion of the lid edge which are configured to provide a visual indication of the presence of the tamper-evident seal. The tub edge is disposed beneath the outer portion of the lid edge and extends peripherally outward so that a substantial part of the outer portion of the lid edge does not extend below the tub edge in a vertical direction of the container in an upright orientation. A tab extends from the outer portion of the lid edge and below the tub edge in the vertical direction of the container.

OVERPACK SALVAGE DRUM AND RELATED METHODS
An overpack salvage drum including a drum body and a lid. A bottom wall and side wall of the drum body cooperate to define an interior of the drum body. The lid is configured to close an open top of the drum body. The lid includes at least two independent lid threads to engage with corresponding independent drum threads provided on the drum body. The lid includes a plurality of alternating castellations having a flat inner facing side and castellations having an arcuate inner facing side, which can be interdigitated with castellations on another lid when two lids are stacked together, or can be used to lock with a drum body to rotationally secure a drum body relative to the lid when in a stacked arrangement. The lids include lugs and recesses, or rings that allow for secure stacking of the lids.
