A lockable security container. The container includes a bottom securely affixed to at least one side wall. A lockable lid may be securely affixed to the at least one side wall, so that an interior volume is defined by the bottom, side walls and lockable lid. A lock is attached to the lid and the at least one sidewall such that the lid can be secured in a closed position. A reinforcing bar is placed inside of the container. The container is secured to an exterior surface, such that the securing device passes through the reinforcing bar.

The vacuum heat-preservation box lid includes: a box lid body; a frame bracket, the frame bracket being connected to the box lid body, the frame bracket being provided with at least one rotatable fastening lug, the fastening lug being provided with an air release hole plug; and a seal ring, the seal ring being connected to the box lid body, the seal ring being provided with an air release hole for communicating an inside of a box body with the outside. When the fastening lug is snapped shut, the air release hole plug is in interference fit with the air release hole, thus blocking the air release hole. When the fastening lug is opened, the air release hole plug is separated from the air release hole, thus unblocking the air release hole.

The composite lid can be fitted on a base having an integral bottom wall and sidewall such that the sidewall of the inner plastic lid frictionally engages the sidewall of the base. The outer metal lid can be formed by stamping sheet metal, the inner plastic lid can be formed by molding a polymer material and the base can be formed by molding a polymer material. The outer metal lid can be adhesively bonded or mechanically fitted to the inner plastic lid.

Embodiments described herein include layered mesh containers and methods for using the containers to safely transport and dispose of airbag inflators having ammonium-nitrate-based propellant. For example, a container is provided that can hold multiple airbag inflators and withstand up to 4 moles of matter being deployed from an inflator having ammonium-nitrate-based propellant. The container can contain the inflator and any shrapnel associated with the explosion while also venting gases expelled as a result of the explosion. Various container designs are provided, along with methods for using these containers.

The door is configured to cover the opening of the lid in the closed position and uncover the opening of the lid in the open position. The door also may have a pad that allows the user to be comfortable while sitting. More specifically, the door may be attached to the lid by a hinge, or rotatable about an axis of rotation, to selectively cover and uncover the opening.
