Vapor-tight container
Disclosed is a vapor-tight container comprising a container body having a first extension formed to extend outwards along a rim of a sidewall thereof and a locking protrusion bent downwards from an end of the first extension, and a container lid configured to cover an upper portion of the container body so that the inside of the container body is sealed.
EXPANDABLE AND COLLAPSIBLE LID SYSTEM AND METHOD
An expandable and collapsible lid; the expandable and collapsible lid includes a lid that has an expanded state and a collapsed state, as manipulated. The lid includes a flange having circumscribing lip that is configured for fluid-proof communication with an opening. The lid includes a plurality of concentric segments each flexibly coupled together, inner-diameter to outer-diameter, with each subsequent segment. The expandable and collapsible lid system further includes a container. The container includes the opening that when closed defines a volume of the container. The expandable and collapsible lid system is useful for modifying the volume of a container for storage.
Push-to-open lid and container
A container comprising a base portion, the base portion having at least one side support; and at least one end support at each end of the base portion; and a flexible, resilient lid portion, the lid portion configured to be installed to the base portion utilizing the resilience in the lid portion for inserting each end of the lid portion into the at least one end support. Further, a method for installing a flexible, resilient lid to a container, the container comprising a base portion having a side support at each side of the container and an end support at each end of the base portion, the method including bending the lid by applying pressure to each end of the lid; aligning the lid with each end support; and releasing the lid, wherein the lid re-forms into a flat lid within the end supports.
Position adjustable interior lid for containers
What is disclosed is a lid for sealing containers containing paint as well as other types of liquids and solids. The lid is flexible and resilient at portions that provide a seal for the container to preserve the contents by reducing off-gas leakage as well as ingress of oxidizing air in order to prevent drying of the contents or other types of deterioration. A handle is provided at a top surface of the lid and which is proximal to the outer structures of the lid. The handle enables a user to utilize thumb and forefinger to squeeze the handle and thereby laterally collapse the lid thereby reducing its lateral dimensions. The central portion of the lid is vertically raised from radially distal portions of the lid to facilitate collapse of the lid when the handle is squeezed. The lateral dimensional reduction enables the lid to more easily fit within the container and furthermore enables its position to be adjusted within the container and thereby enable it to be moved as close to the contents of the container as desired in order to minimize air pockets in the container space directly above the contents. Release of the grip on the handle allows the lid to revert to its original laterally extended position and thereby come into full sealing contact with the interior walls of the container.
AIR CONTACT REDUCER FOR FOOD STORAGE CONTAINERS
An air contact reducer for food storage is described herein. The air contact reducer may be a single piece of plastic. The air contact reducer may be round or rectangular to match the shape of a food container. The air contact reducer may include a knob or handle to help move the air contact reducer up or down (or back and forth in some cases) to reduce the air contact with food while the food is being stored.
SNAP CLOSURE WITH TAMPER-EVIDENT SAFETY MEANS
A cover operates with a bistable snap-fit mechanism for positioning on a closable opening of a container or on another element to be closed by the cover. The cover and/or a container wall region has fitted thereon a tamper-evident sealing element to be removed when opening the container for the first time, which, prior to being removed, blocks deformation of the front wall necessary for changeover between the two bistable states and/or prevents an expansion portion necessary for the snap-fit mechanism, from bringing about alteration to the outer circumference of the cover necessary for deformation of the front wall of the cover between the two bistable states. As an alternative, or in addition, it is also possible for a handle member, necessary for pulling off the cover, to be configured such that it can only be used once the tamper-evident sealing has been successfully removed.
Bottle Assembly and Valve Assembly
A bottle assembly is provided. The bottle assembly comprises a bottle having an end portion including a first detent formation, and a collar having a second complementary detent formation. The collar is arranged to snap fit to the end portion by engagement of the detent formations by application of force only in a direction towards the bottle. In addition, a valve assembly for use with a drinking vessel is provided. The valve assembly comprises a base member and a sealing member. The sealing member is moveable, dependent on a pressure difference across it, between a sealed position, wherein the sealing member is sealed against the base member, and an unsealed position, wherein the sealing member is unsealed from the base member. One or more channels are formed between the base member and the sealing member and extend to a periphery of the sealing member. The one or more channels are arranged to allow air to enter the drinking vessel from the periphery of the sealing member when the sealing member is in the unsealed position.
Container and lid assembly
The assembly 100 includes a container 102 and a lid 104. The container 102 includes a main body 110 and a container rim 120 surrounding the main body 110. The container rim 120 has an outer peripheral horizontal top surface 122 and an inner peripheral horizontal top surface 124 vertically above the outer peripheral horizontal top surface. The lid 104 includes a ring-shaped lid frame 130 and a membrane 132 that is attached over a top surface of the lid frame 130 and seals with inner peripheral horizontal top surface.
Wiper blade assembly protector and method of protecting a wiper blade assembly
A protector for a windshield wiper assembly includes an elongated body defining a cavity receiving at least the blade of the wiper assembly. The cover is used to protect the assembly from snow, ice, mud, etc. Preferably, the assembly is pivoted away from the windshield before the blade is inserted into the body. Caps with decorative covers are provided at the ends of the body. The body may be made of a translucent material and may be covered with logos, insignia and other advertising materials.
