CONTAINER AND LID
A container lid is provided herein having structurally reinforcing ribs therein. The ribs increase the strength of the lid across a central region thereof. Specifically, the lid can have an outer perimeter and the ribs can be spaced inwardly from the outer perimeter. The inwardly spaced ribs can provide a distinct look for consumer differentiation. Additionally, the ribs can be arcuate so that they generally follow a curvature of the outer perimeter of the lid. As such, a label region within the lid central region is preserved, while the lid is still strengthened by the ribs.

An apparatus for dispensing a single box for containing foodstuffs includes a housing, a lift subassembly, and a transfer subassembly. The housing at least partially defines an inner area. The lift subassembly is coupled to the housing and disposed at least partially within the inner area. The lift subassembly includes a nest configured to support a plurality of boxes disposed in a stack and translate with respect to the housing in a first direction and a second direction opposite the first direction. The transfer subassembly is coupled to the housing and disposed at least partially within the inner area. The transfer subassembly includes a vacuum suction cup. The vacuum suction cup is configured to operatively engage a first box of the plurality of boxes to remove the first box from the stack and pivot the first box about a rotational axis to a surface outside of the inner area.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT BOX
The present invention relates to a wall-lid reinforcement system for the reinforcement of a box for storing and/or transporting goods wherein the box comprises a base body formed by side walls and a bottom wall, each one comprising inner and outer faces wherein the inner faces define an inner space with an opening; and a lid with an inner face, an outer face and a peripheral edge to close the opening of the base body and to define a closed configuration of the box. The wall-lid reinforcement system comprises at least one wall reinforcement body arranged on at least one face of at least one side wall of the base body of the box wherein said wall reinforcement body comprises a wall support area arranged towards the opening of the base body; and at least one lid reinforcement body arranged on the inner face of the lid, wherein the lid reinforcement body comprises a lid support area that faces the wall support area when the box is closed; wherein the wall reinforcement body and the lid reinforcement body define at least one reinforcement assembly. Furthermore, the invention relates to a box for storage and/or transport of goods.
HIGH STRENGTH CORRUGATED CARTON DESIGN AND LID FOR MODIFIED ATMOSPHERE PACKAGING OF FRESH PRODUCE AND FRESH-CUT FLOWERS
A container assembly including, a carton base having a substantially planar bottom surface, a lid having a top surface and a plurality of sidewalls extending therefrom. The lid is releasably engaged with the carton base and forms an interior space when engaged with the carton base. The top surface of the lid includes: a plurality of raised platforms, each raised platform having a substantially planar top surface, and a plurality of channels extending between each of the raised platforms such that each of the plurality of channels continuously extends to a perimeter of the lid. Additionally, the carton base is formed of three distinct laminate layers, with at least one of the laminate layers including a resin and a board weight of 200 g/m.sup.2 to 300 g/m.sup.2.
Container and container lid with built-in brine disc
The present disclosure relates generally to containers and container lids. In at least one embodiment, the disclosed containers and container lids provide a liquid-tight seal without the use of gaskets, and can facilitate full submersion of solid items when the container is filled with liquid. For example, in certain embodiments, a container lid includes a brine disc panel with alternating hatched patterns of downward protruding ridges. Thus, in these embodiments, liquids within the container can pass between the protruding ridges (e.g., with the protruding ridges extending downwardly into the liquid) and the protruding ridges may keep solids that tend to float in the liquid below a surface of the liquid.
INSULATED CONTAINER
A double-walled insulating container having a dish structure, a lid structure and a retaining ring. The dish structure includes a dish inside wall and a dish outside wall. The dish inside wall and the dish outside wall are fixedly separated by a dish insulation space therebetween. The dish inside wall and the dish outside wall are joined at an upper section of the dish structure to enclose the dish insulation space. The dish inside wall defines a dish interior space. The dish outside wall having an outwardly extending dish flange. The lid structure is configured to resealably-seal the dish interior space. The lid structure has a lid inside wall and a lid outside wall The lid inside wall and the lid outside wall are fixedly separated by a lid insulation space therebetween. The lid inside wall and the lid outside wall being joined at a lower section of the lid structure to enclose the lid insulation space. The lid inside wall defines a lid interior space. The lid outside wall has an outwardly extending lid flange. The retaining ring is configured to engage the lid flange. The retaining ring has at least one securing clip configured to engage dish flange to secure the lid structure to the dish structure.
Lid with pylons for supporting cross beams
A lid for a container or tote has a main body with pylons. The pylons are arranged on the lid to provide a first pylon adjacent to a second pylon. The first and second pylons may each have a plurality of platforms that can support and stabilize a cross beam such as a board placed in between them. The platforms may include a first platform, a second platform, and a third platform. The first platform is horizontally spaced apart from the second platform, and the second platform is horizontally spaced apart from the third platform. The first platform is vertically spaced apart from the second platform, and the second platform is vertically spaced apart from the third platform. Corresponding ones of the platforms on the adjacent pylons may be disposed on a same plane so as to provide a planar or flat surface for receiving the cross beam.
Method of producing and filling a packaging container
A method of producing and filling a paperboard packaging container with pulverulent bulk solids includes forming a tubular container body from a paperboard sheet, the body having upper and lower body openings and a container wall extending between the upper and lower body openings and having inner and outer surfaces; closing the upper body opening with a sealing membrane attached to the inner surface; providing an upper reinforcing rim; inserting at least a lower part of the upper reinforcing rim into the tubular container body at the upper body opening; forming a weld seal between the inner surface and the inserted part of the upper reinforcing rim; presenting the body to a filling station with the bottom body opening of the container body directed upward in a vertical direction; filling pulverulent material into the body through the upwardly directed bottom body opening; and closing the bottom body opening.
Packing box
A packaging box is provided, which comprising a box body with a top opening and an openable cover connected at a top of the box body. The box body comprises a bottom wall and a side wall connected to a peripheral edge of the bottom wall, and a top of the side wall forms an arc top edge folding outward. The openable cover further comprises a top wall and a fastening part connected to a peripheral edge of the top wall. A convex rib is formed on the fastening part which matches with the arc top edge. The convex rib blocks at a lower edge of the fastening part. A concave recess is respectively arranged on opposite sides of the side wall. The sealing performance as well as the strength of the packaging box is effectively improved, while the structure of the packaging box is convenient for operation.
SEALING LID AND TOTE COMBINATION
A tote assembly has a tote and a lid. The tote has a sealing channel formed in a lip that extends around a perimeter of a tote opening. At least one drain is formed in the lip and is adapted to direct a fluid away from the sealing channel. The lid has a center portion, a collar disposed around the center portion forming a perimeter of the lid, and a sealing rib formed in the collar that extends around the perimeter of the lid. The collar forms an interference fit with the lip of the tote. The sealing rib is configured to be disposed in the sealing channel to form a fluid tight seal. The fluid-tight seal between the tote and lid ensures the contents of the tote remain dry in an otherwise wet environment or conditions.
