The first plate shell and the second plate shell each have a bottom wall and a surrounding sidewall with a flange disposed thereon. The first and second plate shells are operably configured to selectively removably couple together in a watertight configuration using a locking tab disposed on one of the plate shells and a raised sidewall disposed above the flange of the first plate shell.

Container having a lid closure lock

A container has an opening that can be closed by a lid and latching elements for releasably locking the lid. The latching elements are arranged in a region of overlap of the container wall and the lid side wall. The latching elements are separately inserted latching elements received in latching-element receptacles, and include latching hooks. The latching hooks can be brought into engagement with inversely corresponding latching-hook receptacles when the container opening is closed by the lid.

DOUBLE-WALL CONTAINER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DOUBLE-WALL CONTAINER, AND INVERSION DEVICE

A method for manufacturing a double-wall container includes a blow molding process of forming an intermediate molded body by blow molding, the intermediate molded body including a projection part that is provided at a boundary portion between an inner wall forming part and an outer wall forming part and projects outward in a radial direction of the outer wall forming part; an inverting process of pushing the inner wall forming part inside the outer wall forming part and inverting the inner wall forming part, thereby forming the intermediate molded body into the double-wall container; and a collapsing process of collapsing the projection part in a depth direction of the intermediate molded body to form a crease at the boundary portion between the inner wall forming part and the outer wall forming part, the collapsing process being performed before the inverting process.

Multi-compartment container system with detachable and re-attachable compartments and methods and systems of using the same
11180284 · 2021-11-23 ·

A multi-compartment container system includes a plurality of compartments. Each compartment includes a cup portion comprising a volume adapted to hold a food or liquid, and a frame portion joined to the cup portion. The frame portion surrounds a top portion or edge of the cup portion, and includes a connector element disposed on a side of the frame and one or more first mating elements. The compartment also includes a lid having one or more second mating elements adapted to engage with the one or more first mating elements of the frame to form a seal, and a chamber adapted to hold a utensil. The connector element of the frame is joined to an adjacent connector element of an adjacent frame of an adjacent compartment. The cup portion includes a first section and a second section, and the cup portion is adapted to move between an expanded state in which no part of the second section is inside the first section and a collapsed state in which at least a portion of the second section is inside the first section.

Protective cap or container with lid and spring-loaded opening

A protective cap or container with a resilient opening is disclosed. The container generally includes top and bottom parts connected to each other via a film joint in a unilaterally pivotal fashion, and latched to each other in the closed state, with the top part being biased under the resilience of a repeatedly profiled resilient body in the opening direction in reference to the bottom part such that upon actuation of the latching device the top part pivots open from the bottom part under the force of resilience it is pivoted open and remains in the open position, with here the repeatedly profiled resilient body being made from a soft-elastic elastomer plastic material and fastened unilaterally at flaps connected thereto with the same material, at the two facial sides of the top part and the bottom part.

STORAGE CONTAINER PROVIDED WITH LID
20210253310 · 2021-08-19 ·

The present invention relates to a storage container comprising a container body (18), a lid (16) placed on the container body, and an actuation apparatus configured to actuate the lid (16) to move between a closed position where the container is in the closed state and a release position where the container is in the ready to open state. One or more body cam surfaces (1852) are arranged on an outer surface of a side wall of the container body (18), and one or more lid cam surfaces (1642) are arranged on an inner surface of a neck portion of the lid in such a manner that the body cam surfaces (1852) are configured to oppose the corresponding lid cam surfaces (1642). The lid (16) is locked in the closed position by moving the lid in a first direction so as to bring the lid cam surfaces (1642) to abut on and engage with the body cam surfaces (1852), and the lid is moved to the release position by moving the lid in a second direction so as to disengage the lid cam surfaces (1642) from the body cam surfaces (1852). The mechanism for opening and closing the storage container is easy to manufacture, and simple and effortless to operate.

Tamper-evident produce container

A system and method for storing, shipping, and displaying produce in a box which has a tamper-evident closure. The box may be formed of folded cardboard and a transparent plastic lid which engages top edges of the box. The lid has a plurality of tabs around its periphery that may be bent and inserted into slots or notches formed in the box edges, and then expand to a larger relaxed size. The slots or notches have perforated lines enabling the lid to be ripped upward to open the box, thus indicating that the container has been tampered with.

Food container and method for manufacturing same

Provided are a food container which is formed to have a sealing moiety integrated with a lid or a container body and is not easily deformed when heated by a microwave oven or the like, so as to be capable of keeping a sealed state, and a method for manufacturing the food container.
