CAPPED BARREL SYSTEM AND METHODS
A capped barrel system for aging liquids includes a barrel and a barrel cap removably coupled to the barrel. The barrel includes: a plurality of wooden staves suitable for aging liquids, hoops for holding the staves together, a head coupled to the staves, and a bunghole formed in the head. The barrel cap includes: a lid including a top portion and a rim extending downwardly from the top portion. The rim includes an inner surface and a seal that defines at least a portion of the inner surface. The barrel cap further includes an opening formed in the top portion of the lid that is generally aligned with the bunghole and a closure removably positioned in the opening. When the closure is positioned in the opening, a gas tight coupling between the closure and the lid and a gas tight fit between the seal and the barrel form a gas tight environment between the barrel and the barrel cap.
Cups and containers with a living hinge and sleeves
The present invention is directed to containers for holding non-food items having a living hinge and a quad or multi seal structure on the lid such that the seal created by the contact of the lid with the inside of the cup or container ensures a secure, friction fit orientation to prevent spillage or leakage of the contents therein. The quad or multi directional seal is created by multiple ribs on the lid that securably fit within the base of the container and indentations oriented in the bases, or by multiple ribs on the lid that securably fit within a channel structure in the top of the base of the container, the channel structure having the indentations in order to create a secure fit.
RESEALABLE MOISTURE TIGHT CONTAINER ASSEMBLY FOR STRIPS AND THE LIKE HAVING A LIP SNAP SEAL
A substantially moisture tight container and lid assembly for storing and packaging moisture-sensitive items comprising an assembly with a container and a lid, the lid is attached by a hinge to an upper housing portion of the container, the lid includes a lip seal member that depends downwardly from the lid, the lip seal member is configured to abut at least a portion of the interior side of the container when the lid is in the closed position resulting in a substantially moisture tight seal between the lid and the lid, and the container assembly further comprising a base portion and an upper housing portion, the upper housing portion is capable of being snap-fit into the base portion by employing a lip seal mechanism to form a substantially moisture-tight seal.
CONTAINER WITH A SEALING COVER
A container assembly includes a container having an open top formed in an upper section of the container. The upper section of the container includes an inner peripheral surface, an outer peripheral surface and a flange formed between the inner and the outer peripheral surfaces. The open top is defined by the inner peripheral surface. A cover made by flexible material includes a skirt which includes a first lip, a second lip and a valley formed between the first and second lips. When the cover is mounted to the open top of the container, the flange of the container is engaged with the valley, the first lip is fully in contact with the inner peripheral surface, and the second lip is fully in contact with the outer peripheral surface so as to form an air-tight status. By lifting the second lip, the cover is easily removed from the container.
SEALED FOOD CAN WITH TIME SETTING DEVICE
Disclosed is a sealed food can with time setting device, which comprises a can body and a sealing cover sealingly connected with the can body through a plurality of locks on the periphery of the cover. A time setting device comprises a sliding rail and an indicating slider being slidable along the sliding rail. Several date marks are arranged at equal intervals beside the sliding rail. The indicating slider has an indicating tip on the side corresponding to the date marks. The indicating slider moves along the sliding rail so that the indicator tip corresponds to one of the date marks. The time setting device of the present invention can set the time when the food is stored or the expiration time, which is convenient for consumer to accurately manage the food storage time, and is simple in structure, intuitive in display and convenient in use.
COVER STRUCTURE
A cover structure is disclosed. When an annular sealing portion of a cover body is engaged with a container, a sealing section of the annular sealing portion abuts against an annular inner surface of the container, and then, a folding section of the annular sealing portion is folded to a sealing state, so that part of the folding section abuts against the annular outer surface of the container to form a dual leak-proof sealing structure. The folding section of the annular sealing portion is an annular elastic and full-peripheral tightening structure. Therefore, the sealing between the container and the cover may be strengthened for a good sealing effect, and preventing liquid in the container from being splashed on surrounding articles. When the folding section is in the unsealing state, the cover can be separated from the container, which is convenient to carry and use.
HOUSEHOLD TISSUE PAPER CONTAINER
A household tissue paper container includes a container body that is configured to store household tissue paper therein and has a take-out portion having an outlet through which the household tissue paper is taken out; and an open/close lid that is pivotably attached to the container body and closes the outlet. The outlet is formed at a swelling portion having a substantially spherical raised shape in the take-out portion. The outlet has a protruding piece that is protruding from a front edge of the outlet toward a rear where the open/close lid is attached to the container body.
GASKETLESS CLOSURE FOR OPEN-TOP PAILS
A container package includes a container and a lock-on closure that couples to the container. The container includes an annular sidewall. The closure includes a channel portion having an inner, an outer, and a top wall that define a channel. The inner wall includes a primary seal having sealing ridges formed thereon. The closure further includes a single, flexible sealing wiper appendage extending away from the top wall. When the sidewall of the container is outside of the channel, the appendage is in a first position in which it extends downwardly and is angled inwardly so a terminal end of the appendage is freely suspended within the channel. When the sidewall of the container is in the channel, the appendage is in a second position in which the terminal end is closer to the inner wall than in the first position and the appendage contacts the top rim.
REUSABLE BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A reusable beverage container has a glass cup having a formed mouth having a smooth exterior frustoconical surface which widens in exterior diameter towards a rim of the mouth. The mouth has a height of greater than 15 mm. A lid engages the mouth. The lid has a top section and an elastomeric skirt, the top section having a drinking aperture therethrough and the skirt defining an inner frustoconical surface and an outer surface. The inner frustoconical surface conforms in shape and size to the outer frustoconical surface and the skirt thickening towards a lower edge thereof.
