Thermally Insulating Packaging
A thermally insulating packaging to hold an item includes a solid compostable or recyclable shell that is formed primarily of a plant fiber, and a bottom cover. The shell includes a floor, a plurality of inner side walls that are coupled to the floor, a rim coupled to the plurality of inner side walls, and a plurality of outer side walls that are couple to the rim. The floor and the plurality of inner side walls define an interior space of the shell to receive the item and an opening to the interior space. The plurality of inner side walls and plurality of outer side walls have a space therebetween that defines a gap. The gap can be an air-filled cavity, or be filled with a compostable or recyclable core material.
THERMOFORMED CELLULOSE-BASED FOOD PACKAGING
The present invention relates generally to the field of food packaging and packaged foods. In particular, the present invention relates to cellulose-based food packaging. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a food packaging comprising a thermoformed cellulose-based container element, a biodegradable lining inside the container element and a recyclable lid element, wherein the lid element comprises a multi-layer metallized paper-based packaging material comprising a paper layer, a pre metallization coating layer, a metallized layer, and at least one post metallization coating layer, wherein the post metallization coating layer comprises a post-metallization tie layer coating comprising an ethylene acrylic acid copolymer dispersion, or another polyolefin dispersion functionalized with methacrylic and/or carboxyl acid groups and wherein the container element has a shape adapted to the shape of the food to be packaged in the food packaging. One advantage of the subject matter of the present invention is that it allows it to package food with a headspace of less than about 10 vol.-% without the application of a vacuum.
COSMETIC DISPENSER
Disclosed herein are cosmetic dispensers including a base, for example, having a cavity and an interior surface where, in embodiments, the interior surface includes a spiral recess. The cosmetic dispenser may further include a pedestal assembly received within the cavity of the base. The pedestal assembly can include a pedestal having a base plate at a first distal end of the pedestal and a cup member at a second distal end opposite the first distal end. The cup member may be configured to receive a cosmetic that extends above the cup member. The sleeve may be movably received within the cavity, and can include at least one engaging means coupled to the spiral recess. The engaging means may be configured to slide along the spiral recess to raise and lower the sleeve. In embodiments, the sleeve is configured to completely surround the cosmetic in a raised first position, and is configured to at least partially not surround the cosmetic in a lowered second position.
GAS-BARRIER MULTILAYER BODY AND PACKAGING BAG
Provided is a gas barrier laminate being capable of hermetic sealing by heat sealing and having a paper substrate and a vapor-deposited layer, in which the paper substrate has a basis weight of 30 to 100 g/m.sup.2, and the water vapor transmission rate and the oxygen transmission rate of the gas barrier laminate are in specific ranges, respectively.
Recyclable cap for containers
A recyclable cap for containers includes an outer body and an inner body provided with fixing means for being retained in a container, the inner body being coupled and housed inside the outer body, wherein the outer body is made of a biodegradable material of plant origin, wherein the outer body and the inner body are coupled by coupling means configured for linking the two bodies to one another, the inner body including a single-use release system configured for separating the outer body from the inner body. A user may thereby separate and recycle the outer body and the inner body in an entirely separate manner at the end of the service life thereof.
REPULPABLE CONTAINER
A repulpable insulated container assembly having a container formed of paper such as corrugated cardboard or varying paper materials and defining an interior; and a repulpable insert placed within the interior of the container and formed of a first paper layer; and a paper fiber pad coupled to the first paper layer.
SHEET MEMBER CONTAINER
A sheet member container configured by including one or more sheet members including a main body-forming sheet member having an outer film layer and an inner film layer laminated on each other. The sheet member container includes a containing portion that accommodates a content, and a container main body that is composed of the main body-forming sheet member and surrounds the containing portion. The main body-forming sheet member includes a main-body sealed portion in which the outer film layer and the inner film layer are attached to each other, a non-attached region in which the outer film layer and the inner film layer are partially non-attached to each other, and a filled part in which a filler is enclosed between the outer film layer and the inner film layer in the non-attached region.
Method Of Making An Insulation Material And An Insulated Mailer
A method for producing an insulation material is described herein. The method includes mixing cellulose reinforcement fibers with thermoplastic binder fibers to form a mixture. In addition, the method includes applying heat to the mixture to melt the thermoplastic binder fibers such that the thermoplastic binder fibers bind the cellulose reinforcement fibers together to form a batt. The thermoplastic binder fibers make up about 0.5% to about 25% by weight of the batt. Furthermore, the method includes slicing the batt along a horizontal plane to form a first pad having a first thickness and a second pad having a second thickness. Each of the first and second thicknesses is greater than or equal to about 1/16 of an inch.
Reinforced Composite Transport Container for Beverages
A container for transporting beer bottles or beer cans has at least one part made of a structural laminate comprising a thermoplastic resin foam core and a fiber reinforced resin skin.
