This invention relates to a pallet bag system for bags enclosing items, pallets loaded with bags containing items, and containers containing such loaded pallets.

METHODS OF MAKING, PACKAGING, AND DELIVERING COMPRESSED HOLLOW CORELESS REFORMABLE ROLL PRODUCTS

A compressed hollow coreless roll of absorbent paper sheet produced by way of providing a roll of absorbent paper sheet by winding the sheet about a forming core member having a diameter in the range of 30 mm to 50 mm; removing the forming core member such that there is provided a hollow coreless roll of absorbent paper sheet with an axial cavity having a diameter in the range of 30 mm to 50 mm and compressing the hollow coreless roll such that, the axial cavity is substantially collapsed. The compressed hollow coreless rolls are readily re-formed into cylindrical shape. Space-saving packages of the rolls are overwrapped with tubular polymer film to provide a flexible reconfigurable package of a series of individually encased rolls. Volume reductions of about 10 to about 20%, about 14% to about 20%, 30%, 40% and more as compared with conventional products are realized.

Package of insulating products and process for manufacturing such a package

A pack includes compressible insulation products that each have a longitudinal axis, a peripheral surface, and first and second ends. The pack includes a stack of at least two modules, where each module includes a row of insulation products positioned next to one another along a first direction. The modules of the stack are superimposed along a second direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axes of the insulation products and to the first direction. The pack also includes a cover that wraps the stack by covering five faces of the stack including the two end faces of the stack formed by the ends of the insulation products and at least the periphery of the sixth face of the stack.

Method for creating at least one opening in sheath made of stretch film that retains goods stack arranged on pallet, and shaping apparatus for carrying out the method

A method for creating an opening in a sheath, made of stretch film, that retains a goods stack arranged on a pallet. The pallet comprising an upper-side deck surface as support for the goods stack and lower-side support feet. The sheath engages under the support feet arranged in the region of the four outer edges of the pallet. At least one opening is in the sheath between two support feet . At least one opening is generated such that the sheath is first heated, the heated sheath is retracted from the pallet and then, still in the heated state, displaced upward. The upwardly displaced sheath is secured in its upwardly displaced position by cooling. The invention also relates to a shaping apparatus, and additionally to at least one heating device for carrying out the method.

VENTED PACKAGING ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD

A method for packaging masonry products, comprising stacking the masonry product. Wrapping the masonry product with a packaging film from a first position to a second position below a top of the product. Placing a top sheet on the top of the masonry product, the top sheet forming at least one vent assembly. Wrapping the masonry product and the top sheet with the packaging film below the vent assembly.

The present disclosure relates to a stretch hood arrangement (200) enclosing a stack of articles (201) arranged on a pallet (203) in multiple layers including a base layer (207), a top layer (209) and one or more intermediate layers, said stretch hood arrangement (200) comprising: a polymer film tubular band (215) stretched around at least the base layer (207) of the stack; a polymer film stretch hood (213) enclosing the top and sides of the stack; characterized in that the polymer film of the tubular band (215) has a higher elasticity than the polymer film of the stretch hood. The present disclosure further relates to the use of a the stretch hood arrangement for collection and transport of a stack of articles (201), preferably for collection and transport of a stack of bottles arranged on a pallet (203) in multiple layers.

ROLLED PAPER PRODUCT CARGO ASSEMBLAGES AND METHOD FOR MAKING ROLLED PAPER PRODUCT CARGO ASSEMBLAGES

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to cargo assemblages that may include containers of rolled products stacked on pallets in an underhung or partially underhung configuration and secured thereto with film and methods of producing such cargo assemblages. The load may include containers of absorbent paper product arranged in stacked layers from a bottom layer of containers to a top layer of containers. The load and the pallet are sized such that the load defines a footprint that is smaller, at least in some portions, than a footprint of the pallet to create an underhung or partially underhung configuration. A film may be applied to connect the load with the pallet and to connect neighboring stacked layers together. The film may be wrapped around the pallet and/or layers of containers with a wrap profile having different characteristics, such as for example, containment forces; tensions; numbers of layers, and/or locations of layers with respect to the load, the pallet, and/or each other.

METHOD FOR SECURING PACKING UNITS, AND FIXING HOLDER FOR USE IN THE METHOD

Method for securing packing units 20 on a transport vehicle 21, the packing units comprising a base 22 and at least two upright joined round containers 2a, 2b, the method comprising the steps of: providing a first fixing holder 1 on the upright circumferential edges 5 of two upright joined containers 2a, 2b of a first packing unit 20, providing a second fixing holder 1 on two upright circumferential edges of two upright joined containers 2a, 2b of the first packaging unit 20 or of a second packaging unit 20, arranging a tying strap or tensioning cable 8 over the fixing holders 1, 1, securing the first packing unit 20 with the tying strap or tensioning cable 8 on the transport vehicle 21.

Apparatus and Process for Packaging Materials

A system for automatically sealing a plastic bag/enclosure over containers of biological materials carried on a pallet, comprising: a sealing system for automatically sealing a pallet bag enclosing a plurality of containers of biological materials wherein said pallet bag encloses the containers and an atmosphere surrounding the containers, the pallet bag optionally comprising at least one ACM and optionally including a reinforced portion. The pallet bag generally surrounds a number of flats or boxes on pallets containing fruits or vegetables that are sealed with or without a membrane to create an optimally suited atmosphere to control ripening, extend shelf-life, minimize microbial growth, maintain color, and maintain freshness.

System for producing a transportable container for flowable bulk goods
10647488 · 2020-05-12 · ·

A transportable container for flowable bulk goods includes a bottom support and a stretch wrap spirally wrapped around the bottom support and extending vertically in relationship to the bottom support. Bulk goods are disposed within the stretch wrap and at least of portion of the bulk goods are disposed in direct contact with the stretch wrap to squeeze the bulk goods together and generate hoop forces for stabilizing the bulk goods in the transportable container. The transportable container has a shape that varies radially in vertical relationship to the bottom support for adjusting the hoop forces vertically along the transportable container. The varied shape of the transportable container can be, for example, tapered, hour-glass shaped, or pumpkin shaped.
