Jointed package corner protector
The present invention provides a jointed package corner protector, which includes corner plates (1) each of which is formed, in two opposite, upper and lower, ends thereof, with first through holes (11) that are perpendicular to a lengthwise direction of the corner plates (1) and a joint sheath (31) that is formed with second through holes (311) that correspond to the first through holes (11) formed in an upper end of a lower-side corner plate (1) of two corner plates (1) that are arranged adjacent to each other as being respectively set at upper and lower sides and the first through holes (11) formed in a lower end of the upper-side corner plate (1) so that button fasteners (33) may be set to penetrate through corresponding ones of the first through holes (11) and the second through holes (311) to connect the two adjacent corner plates (1) of the upper and lower sides to the joint sheath (31), whereby easy variation of a length of the package corner protector can be achieved accommodate stacked heights of different package specifications of display devices so as to be economic and practical and help improve manufacturing efficiency.
Slotted Tie Down Protector
A slotted tie down protector assembly according to the invention is provided and is generally constructed to include a securing plate, a webbing and a tension buckle. The securing plate is an elongated rectangular member and further includes a set of dual elongated oval shaped receiving passages in the central region. The webbing includes a set of end pieces at each end and are threaded through each of the oval shaped receiving passages. The securing plate is placed on the corner or side of a cargo container and the end pieces of the webbing are pulled in order to create tension. The tension buckle is fastened to the body of the webbing and engaged in order to tighten the webbing to create a greater level of tension within the assembly.
Securing apparatus for packaging and shipping
A securing apparatus includes a main body that defines a cavity sized to receive a portion of an object, such as a box's corner. The securing apparatus includes at least one anchor extending from the main body that is configured to engage with the corner portion of the object such that the securing apparatus may be removably coupled thereto. The main body of the securing apparatus may include eyelets configured to receive a length of filament such that multiple objects may be secured to one another during packaging and shipping. Additionally, the securing apparatus may also include a projecting finger that is configured to retain a length of filament that may be used to attach the object more securely to a pallet or other structure for shipping.
Inflatable packaging
Some examples include a plurality of inflatable units that may be secured to an item as packaging to protect the item during transport or other shipping. The inflatable units may be inflated to a threshold pressure and placed at the corners of the item to be transported. In some cases, prior to placement of the inflatable units at the corners of the item, beams may be placed between the inflatable units that will serve as the bottom inflatable units. Straps may be used to secure the inflatable units against the item, and the packaged item may be transported to a destination. Upon receipt of the shipped item, the recipient may remove the inflatable units from the corners of the item, deflate the inflatable units, and send the inflatable units and the straps back to the sender, who may reuse the inflatable units and the straps.
LOAD SECURING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURING A LOAD
The present disclosure relates to a load securing system with at least two inflatable cushioning elements and fastening means for attachment of the cushioning elements to transported goods, wherein the at least two cushioning elements are in fluidic connection with one another by means of a connecting tube. The load securing system has a plurality of separate connectors. The method for securing a load provides that the inflatable cushioning elements are attached by means of fastening means to the transported goods, the transported goods are subsequently loaded, and the at least two cushioning elements are subsequently filled with a gas in a common step by means of one of a plurality of separate connectors, wherein a gas source is in fluidic connection with only one of the two cushioning elements or with the connecting tube.
PALLET
A pallet includes a top plate, an opposite bottom plate, and a series of supports disposed between the top and bottom plates. The series of supports, top plate, and bottom plate collectively define an opening on each vertical side of the pallet. The spacing of the supports from each other further defines a series of pathways configured to receive the forks of both a forklift and a pallet jack. The pallet may be configured to receive the forks of a forklift and a pallet jack from multiple different directions. The forks of the forklift may be received by the pallet such that the forks are oriented either perpendicular or parallel to the sides of the pallet. The forks of the pallet jack may be received by the pallet such that the forks are offset from being either perpendicular or parallel to the sides of the pallet.
