A PACKAGE, A PRE-FORMED FOLDABLE SHEET, A METHOD OF GROUPING ARTICLES AND A METHOD OF PLACING ARTICLES ON A SHELF
The present disclosure relates to a package comprising an enclosure and retentions. The enclosure is sized and configured to receive several articles aligned within the enclosure. The enclosure has an opening at each of two opposite ends. A retention is located at each end of the enclosure. At least one retention is retractable. For grouping, the articles are aligned on a pre-formed foldable sheet. The sheet is folded to enclose the articles. Opposite edges of the sheet are glued together to form an enclosure about the plurality of articles. A retention is folded at each end of the enclosure. After placing the package on a shelf, any retention at one end of the enclosure is displaced to free the articles. Pushing on the articles through an opposite end allows the articles to slide onto the shelf. A pre-formed foldable sheet for forming the package is also disclosed.
Carton With Expansion Features
A carton for holding one or more containers includes a plurality of panels that extend at least partially around an interior of the carton, a plurality of end flaps foldably connected to the respective plurality of panels to form at least one closed end of the carton, and at least one gusset foldably connected between the at least one side panel and the at least one closed end of the carton. The plurality of panels includes a bottom panel, a top panel, and at least one side panel. The at least one gusset is positionable between a first position and a second position wherein the interior of the carton is expanded.
Carton With Asymmetrical Corners
A carton for containing a plurality of articles. The carton comprises a plurality of panels that extends at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels comprises a top panel, a bottom panel, a first side panel, and a second side panel. The carton comprises a first corner and a second corner at a closed end. The first corner has a first configuration and the second corner has a second configuration, the first configuration being different than the second configuration so that the first corner and second corner are asymmetrical.
MULTIPACK PACKAGING ASSEMBLIES
A packaging assembly can include a plurality of containers and a film. The packaging assembly can further include one or more tear lines disposed between adjacent containers, or between adjacent rows of containers. The tear lines can include scored tear lines or perforated tear lines. The scores or perforations can be formed by a laser, blade, or other implement. One or more containers can be removed from the packaging assembly by tearing the film along the tear line.
EASY OPEN BUNDLED PACKAGED GOODS
The invention provides an easy to grasp handle and opening for packaging of individual packaged products that are sold in multi-packs, also referred to herein as bundles. The multi-pack is a plurality of individually packaged products that are over-wrapped together by a wrapper, such as a plastic film In certain embodiments the packaged products comprise a package and a consumer good, such as facial tissue. The bundle of individually packaged products comprising a plurality of packages, wherein each of the plurality of packages contains at least one product and a film wrapper surrounding at least a portion of the plurality of packages, wherein the film wrapper comprises an overlapped portion having a first film wrapper layer and a second film wrapper layer, the overlapped portion having an attached zone and an unattached zone.
Methods of Erecting Carrier Packages
A carrier package is constructed to tightly secure articles within the package. During loading, pushing the containers into the package causes the side panels of the package to deform so that the height of the package decreases and the width of the package increases.
