Fishing lure with movable tail
The movable tail on a fishing lure having a flexible caudal stalk basically comprises a pair of laterally opposing sides, a plurality of fin rays, upper and lower lobes, laterally projecting central drafts and upper and lower lips, and a rear surface. The fin rays extend rearwardly from the caudal stalk on each of the opposing sides of the tail. The upper and lower lobes are disposed rearwardly of the fin rays. The central drafts are disposed rearwardly of the fin rays on the opposing sides of the tail. The upper lips extend between the central draft and the upper lobe on the opposing sides, and the lower lips extend between the central drafts and the lower lobe on the opposing sides. The rear surface extends over an area defined by the upper and lower lobes, the central drafts, and the upper and lower lips.

Fishing lure with blow-hole vented bait chamber and O-ring hatch locking mechanism
A fishing lure comprising a solid, banana-shaped lure body of buoyant urethane with a bait chamber in a recess of the lure body, the bait chamber covered by a hatch coupled to the lure body with a hinge. Scent producing material may be placed in the bait chamber. A blowhole tunnel passes through the lure body from the lure body head to the bait chamber. Motion of the lure forces water through the blowhole into the bait chamber and carries scent from scent producing material through holes in the hatch. A first groove in the lure body tail is configured such that an O-ring in the first groove holds the hatch against the lure body. A second groove in the lure body tail is configured such that when the O-ring is in the second groove, the hatch is free to open and close.

Interchangeable fishing lure system
The various embodiments provide for a fishing lure configured to allow a fisherman to quickly change the body of the fishing lure without having to cut the line. In the various embodiments, the fishing lure may include two sides configured to fit around a center piece tied to a fishing line, whereby a fisherman may quickly changes the sides of the fishing lure by separating the sides from the center piece and assembling two other sides to the center piece. In further embodiments, the center piece may be positioned on the interior of the sides such that a portion of the fishing line is hidden within the fishing lure, thereby improving the fishing lure's presentation by attaching the fishing line to the fishing lure internally instead of to an external protrusion (e.g., a snap swivel) on conventional fishing lures.
