Apparatus for preparing a beverage
A beverage preparation capsule containing a beverage preparation ingredient, having a body with side walls formed from one or more substantially air- and liquid-impermeable sheet materials defining a chamber containing a beverage preparation ingredient and further defining an outlet channel having an upstream end in fluid communication with the chamber for escape of beverage from the chamber. At least a region of the outlet channel is filled by a filtration material for filtering the beverage escaping from the chamber. Also provided is a clamp assembly for preparing a beverage from such a capsule, the clamp assembly comprising two or more clamp members, wherein an inner wall of at least one of the clamp members comprises a concave base surface for receiving the capsule and one or more pressure pads projecting from the concave base surface for selectively constricting a region of the capsule.
Flexible mouth insert for pouch
A mouth insert for a flexible pouch. The mouth insert defines a passageway that extends along an axis from an axially outer end of the mouth insert to an axially inner end of the mouth insert. The mouth insert is flexible and includes a sealing portion and a lip portion. The sealing portion is for forming a sealed connection to the flexible pouch. The lip portion is configured to extend axially outwardly from the flexible pouch. The lip portion has an axial height that is less than of the axial height of the mouth insert.
Container bag for liquid having a spout
To prevent a reduction in a bending strength and a buckling strength of a container bag for fluid in which a spout is mounted on an upper end of a trunk section formed of a sheet material. Cells 9 are formed between two films of the sheet material 2 by bonding the films together along bonding lines 8, and inflated with fluid. The cells 9 positioned within a width of the spout in a width direction of the trunk section 5 extends downwardly from a site at which the spout 6 is clamped by the layers of the sheet material 2. A lower end of the spout 6 is situated lower than upper ends of the cells 9.
POUCH AND CONTAINER ASSEMBLY FOR STORING A FLUID PRODUCT AND DEVICE FOR STORING AND DISPENSING THE FLUID PRODUCT
The invention relates to a pouch for storing a fluid product, in particular cosmetic product, comprising: a sachet defining an inner volume in which the fluid product is contained; a spout attached to the sachet in a sealing manner and defining a channel leading into the inner volume of the sachet, the channel having an inlet end toward the inner volume of the sachet and an outlet end opposite the inlet end; a closure comprising a body having a first segment with a first radial dimension and a second segment with a second radial dimension larger than the first radial dimension, wherein the second segment is located on a side of the first segment toward the inner volume of the sachet; wherein the closure is configured to prevent air from entering the inner volume of the sachet through the channel in a sealing position, wherein the closure is at least partially disposed in the channel and engages the spout when arranged in the sealing position; and wherein the closure can be displaced away from the sealing position when pushed by a pushing member toward the inner volume of the sachet to unseal the pouch. The invention also relates to a container assembly comprising the pouch and a device for storing and dispensing at least one fluid product comprising the container assembly.
Method of producing hydrogen water
A process of producing hydrogen water includes the steps of: providing a source of spring water; cooling the water to a temperature of from 33 to 38 degrees F.; providing a source of hydrogen gas; contacting the cooled water with the hydrogen gas in a venturi injector forming micro-sized hydrogen bubbles in the water and diffusing hydrogen gas into the cooled water; recirculating the water through the venturi injector until a predetermined hydrogen content in the water is realized forming hydrogen water having a hydrogen content of from 3 to 10 parts per million.
Pouring spout for a film bag
A pouring spout for a film bag includes a pouring channel having a channel wall which is a pouring nozzle on top and which is surrounded by a welding region on the bottom. The welding region has welding arms which extend to respective welding arm ends. The welding arms have rib elements attached to the channel wall and are axially spaced apart from each other. The rib elements have welding sides having peripheral regions extending between the channel wall and the welding arm ends. The peripheral regions form welding zones which converge towards the welding arm ends. Vacant spaces are arranged in the welding arms between each of two adjacent rib elements. The vacant spaces are open on one of the two welding sides and are closed by a welding face on the other of the two welding sides.
Liquid Carrying Container Particularly Suited For Use By Military Personel
A liquid carrying container particularly suited for military use can be sized and configured to easily fit into the pockets or pouches of military uniforms, tactical gear, and other gear, such as flight suits, or into an ammunition magazine holder, which are specifically provided for holding equipment and supplies which require easy one handed access. The container is substantially shape retaining and has a bottom edge. The container includes a container closure having a push-pull element and a protective over cap. The closure maintains a fixed position with respect to the container so when retrieved by a user with one hand always opens in the same direction without the user needing to see the retrieved container. The container can supply liquid to a tube extending from a face mask using an adapter that connects a face mask tube valve to the push-pull element of the container closure.
