The interior layer comprises a first Sine of weakness and a second Sine of weakness, and the peelable adhesive layer comprises a peelable adhesive region and a first void. The first void is aligned with the first Sine of weakness. The first seal is positioned between the first line of weakness and the second line of weakness, and a first end portion of the first seal is aligned with the first void. Various embodiments of the package are also described.
Resealable flexible packaging
The present invention relates to a flexible packaging comprising a base layer and a film layer at least partially releasably affixed to the base layer via a pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer comprises at least one adhesive zone and at least one adhesive-free zone extending continuously in a machine direction. The film layer is scored to form at least one pull tab which is disposed within the at least one adhesive-free zone and the base layer is scored to form at least one cavity which is disposed adjacent the at least one adhesive-free zone.
Child resistant peelable packaging
The invention includes a child resistant package having a first panel and at least two second panels joined to the first panel. The first and second panels are in different planes, in an embodiment. The package includes a peelable flap portion covering an access point into the package, wherein the peelable flap portion has at least one tab continuous therewith. The at least one tab is disposed on one of the second panels and the access point is disposed in the first panel. In an embodiment, at least one decoy tab is also disposed on one of the second panels.
Re-seal label and container with re-seal label
In an example embodiment, a re-sealable label for covering an opening of a box includes a sheet of polymer material that includes a re-sealable adhesive on an underside thereof. A liner is adhered to the underside of the sheet of polymer material. The liner is configured to cover the opening and includes a foil layer and a paper layer. The sheet of polymer material includes a line of perforations wherein one or more of the perforations of the line of perforations include a rectilinear portion and a non-rectilinear portion.
Pouring spout
To provide a pouring spout that allows a nozzle of a packaging container to be accurately inserted into a pouring spout of a refill container. The above-described problem is solved by a pouring spout (10) provided to a refill container (1) for pouring contents into a packaging container, and for pouring out the contents stored in the refill container (1). The pouring spout (10) comprises at least a bonded part (11) bonded to a pouch main body part of the refill container, a tubular part (12) for pouring out the contents, a flange part (13) jutting outward at a boundary between the bonded part (11) and the tubular part (12), a channel (14) for passing the contents from an inside to an outside of the refill container, and a closing member (20) for opening and closing the channel (14). Both end portions of the flange part (13) separated farthest in a horizontal direction jut slightly outward from an area facing a peripheral wall part of the pouring unit constituting the packaging container.
PACKAGING FOR PRODUCTS AND MACHINE FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH PACKAGING
The packaging for products comprises a string of containers (1), each container (1) comprising a closure element (3).
The machine for manufacturing said packaging comprises an opener (6) for forming a space to be filled with a product; a dosing nozzle (8) for dosing the product into said space; a feeder (5) of closure elements (3); welding jaws (9) for welding the closure element (3) and edges defining a container (1) on the packaging; and a cutting unit (11) for separating the containers (1) from the packaging, forming a string of containers (1).
A new type of packaging is achieved, which combines the advantages of an envelope-type packaging with packaging with a closure element and, in addition, allows to be sold in the form of a string.
Easy-opening reclose systems for cigarette packaging
The present invention discloses a reclosable pack (1) of smoking articles, said pack comprising a sealed enclosure having a front wall, a back wall, two side walls (7), a top-end wall (8) and a bottom-end wall (6), said enclosure comprising a flexible packaging laminate around a bundle of smoking articles (2), the laminate comprising a built-in easy-opening access, said laminate comprising a permanently tacky adhesive layer (3) sandwiched between an inner layer structure (9) and an outer layer structure (12) comprising an outer score line (13) formed through the thickness of the outer layer structure (12) and an inner score line (14) formed through the thickness of the inner layer structure (9), both delimiting separable opening portions, in which a region of the outer opening portion between the outer and inner score lines (13, 14) is attached to an underlying surface of the inner layer structure (9) via a permanently tacky adhesive (3), the outer opening portion being peelable from the underlying surface of the inner layer structure (9) to build an opening flap (4), and the outer opening portion being re-attachable to the underlying surface of the inner layer structure (9) via said permanently tacky adhesive (3) for reclosing, in use, the opening access, wherein said opening access is exclusively located at the top-end wall (8) of the sealed enclosure.
Flexible package with reclose region
A reclosable flexible package is described that includes an inner film layer, an outer film layer laminated to the inner film layer, and reclose region defined in a portion of package film layers. The reclose region includes pressure sensitive adhesive disposed between the inner and outer film layers. A number of cut lines are provided in the outer film layer in the reclose region, such that the user, by manipulating the package film layers at the reclose region, can reveal the underlying layer of pressure sensitive adhesive. Once the pressure sensitive adhesive of the reclose region is exposed, the action of the user can serve to adhere the pressure sensitive adhesive to itself and/or other portions of the film, such that the package is cinched in the area of the reclose region and maintains the remnants of the package contents within the reclosed package for later use.
Pack of Tobacco Industry Products
Pack (27) having a group of tobacco industry products wrapped in a laminate (2) to form a bundle (22). The pack has a base (28) containing the bundle, and a lid (30) mounted to the base for rotation between open and closed positions. The laminate has an outer layer (3) having a first cut (5) that defines an outer layer region bounded by said first cut and, an inner layer (4) having a second cut (6) that defines an inner layer region bounded by said second cut. A part of the outer layer region is attached to an inside surface of the lid such that, as the lid is rotated into its open position, the inner and outer layer regions are lifted causing the inner and outer layers to delaminate in a peripheral region (15) between the first and second cuts and an opening (19).
