Instant set-up bulk container
A foldable container moveable between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration defining an interior area for holding bulk material is provided. The container includes opposed side panels and a bottom flap extending from a bottom edge of each side panel. A tab member extends from a distal end of each bottom flap and a tab finger extends from each tab member so as to define a hook at a distal end of each bottom flap. The hooks are interconnected so as to hingedly connect the distal ends of the bottom flaps together, thereby causing the bottom flaps to rotate between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions as the end panels are translated between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions. Locking tabs extending from distal ends of end flaps extend into the interior area of the container to secure the container in the deployed configuration.
Protective door packaging for prehung door assemblies and method of packaging prehung door assemblies
A single unit protective door package for packaging of a single prehung door assembly. The door assembly comprises a door frame and a door slab pivotally attached to the door frame. The door frame includes right and left side jambs and a head jamb connecting upper ends of the right and left side jambs. The single unit protective door package comprises the door assembly, upper protective side caps each mounted to the door assembly at one of opposite upper corners of the door frame, lower protective side caps each mounted to the door assembly at one of lowermost edges of the door frame, and two support spacers each mounted to one of the lowermost edges of the door frame for elevating a bottom edge of the door slab above the ground to a distance compatible with a forklift, pallet jack or hand truck.
PACKAGING BODY
A packaging body includes a base on which a packaging target is placed, a box including first flaps and second flaps, and a binding body configured to bind the base and the box and disposed between the first flaps and the second flaps. The box has a rectangular shape and an upper opening portion and configured to cover a top face and side faces of the packaging target. The first flaps are disposed in pairs opposing to each other extending from opposite scorelines of the upper opening portion and including an opening through which an included object is inserted. The second flaps are disposed in pairs opposing to each other extending from different opposite scorelines of the upper opening portion and configured to be folded over the first flaps when the first flaps are folded. The first flaps further include partial flap portions.
DUNNAGE ACCESSORY
The present disclosure provides an accessory for dunnage used with, for example, bundles of lumber, to reduce the friction between the dunnage and the ground for easier transport and protection of the dunnage and banding during transport. The accessory for dunnage of the present disclosure may comprise a base and a pair of arms extending the base. A receptacle may be defined on three sides by the base and pair of arms. The receptacle may be configured to receive a portion of dunnage. The pair of arms may include hooks configured to retain the portion of dunnage within the receptacle. The accessory may be made of a resilient material, in order to widen to receive the portion of dunnage, and pinch to retain said portion within the receptacle.
Apparatuses and Methods for Packaging Surfboards and Other Objects
An apparatus for packaging at least one surfboard includes an outer enclosure. The packaging apparatus further includes a plurality of edge frames supported directly or indirectly by the outer enclosure. The edge frames are configured to support the surfboard, directly or indirectly. Optionally, the packaging apparatus may also have a plurality of stabilizers affixed to the outer enclosure, where the plurality of edge frames have at least a first edge frame and a second edge frame, the first edge frame abuts at least two of the plurality of stabilizers, and the second edge frame abuts at least two of the plurality of stabilizers.
BOX WITH CLOSEABLE APERTURE
A box with a closeable aperture and a method of accessing an interior of a box are provided. The box may include a sidewall and a flap formed in the sidewall. The flap may be repositionable relative to the sidewall to selectively open and close an aperture formed in the sidewall. The flap may include a main body and a tab, and the tab may be repositionable relative to the main body of the flap for grasping by a user. The method may include pivoting a flap formed in a sidewall of the box relative to the sidewall to provide access to an aperture in the sidewall, pivoting a tab of the flap relative to a main body of the flap, and grasping the tab to reposition the flap relative to the sidewall.
Nestable carton for wheelbarrow kit
A carton for a wheelbarrow kit having a hopper with rim portion and a tapered bucket portion, the carton structured to enclose the rim portion of the hopper and having a first opening allowing the bucket portion of the hopper to extend out of the carton. The carton further provides a second opening generally aligned with the first opening, but disposed on the side of the carton opposed to the first opening. The hopper is inverted in the carton so that the rim is disposed at the bottom of the carton and the hopper extends upwardly. In this configuration, multiple cartons enclosing wheelbarrow kits may be stacked on top of each other with the hopper of a lower carton extending upwardly through the second opening of the adjacent carton and into the partially enclosed space of the hopper in the carton above.
