Specialty intermodal container having a roll cover roof, method of use and manufacture
An intermodal container includes first and second ends, joined by first and second sides in a generally rectangular configuration. A generally continuous floor cooperates with the first and second ends and the first and second sides to form an open top container. A plurality of roof overhangs extend adjacent a top of the open top container, generally parallel to the floor. The intermodal container includes a roll cover having a first position in which the open top container is substantially open to the ambient environment to allow for loading from above the first and second sides and first and second ends of the open top container. The roll cover has a second position in which the open top container is substantially closed to the ambient environment to prevent any contents of the open top container to be ejected from the open top container during transport. A plurality of top reinforcement rails are disposed adjacent upper portions of the first and second sides, and extends from the first side to the second side.
INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINER (IBC) AND ASSOCIATED PALLET
An intermediate bulk container system includes a molded bottle and a pallet. The molded bottle includes a bottom wall and a top wall opposite the bottom wall. A plurality of support columns extend vertically from the bottom wall and define a column thickness. A plurality of sidewalls extending vertically between the bottom wall and the top wall and horizontally between the support columns. A stiffening protrusion is defined on at least a pair of the sidewalls.
Transport and storage container for liquids
A transport and storage container for liquids includes a pallet-type understructure for an inner container made of plastic, the inner container having four side walls, a sealable filling socket formed on an upper bottom and an outlet socket formed on the lower portion of a side wall and having a tapping fitting, the container comprising a cage having horizontal and vertical bars made of metal for receiving the inner container, at least two vertical bars disposed on opposite side walls, being connected at connecting portions by a traverse bar extending over the upper bottom of the inner container which is formed by a hollow profile, the vertical bars having a cross section recess for decreasing a shear force acting on the connecting screw in transition portions formed adjacent to the connecting portions.
Firewood storage device cover
A firewood storage device cover preferably includes a top portion and a peripheral sidewall. The peripheral sidewall extends downward from an outer perimeter of the top portion. An inner peripheral surface of the peripheral sidewall is sized to receive a top portion of an outer perimeter of an IBC tubing frame. At least one eyelet is formed in each sidewall. A height of the peripheral sidewall is preferably about at least one fifth of a height of the IBC metal frame. The IBC metal frame includes a plurality of horizontal tubing rings, a plurality of vertical tubing members and a bottom plate. One end of a tensioning device is engaged with an eyelet in the peripheral sidewall. The other end of the tensioning device is hooked around one of the horizontal tubing rings in a stretched orientation to retain the firewood cover on the IBC tubing frame.
CONTAINER ARRANGEMENT
The invention discloses a container arrangement having an outlet port and a liner bag containing fluid, which includes pressure means adapted to create a high pressure within the liner bag, by means of a force applied to the liner bag and fluid; the force is applied by two rollers which grip the liner bag at a point furthest from the outlet port, then move on an arc towards the outlet port; and the roller squeezes the fluid forward and drive it out of the liner bag; and wherein the pressure means and the rollers are not mutually enabled. The rollers are closed by hand but are squeezed together with pneumatic cylinders. The container arrangement can be a liner bag and/or intermediate bulk container (IBC).
APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING A LINER COMPRISING A LINER DISCHARGE COMPONENT TO A CONTAINER
Apparatus for mounting a liner to a container comprising a rigid outer wall, a top surface, and a bottom surface defining a cavity, the container further comprising a discharge nipple formed in the bottom surface and fluidically connected to the cavity, the apparatus comprising: a liner discharge fitment comprising a discharge fitment input opening, a discharge fitment output opening and a passageway extending therethrough, wherein a radially extending flange extends about a perimeter of the discharge fitment output opening; and a discharge element comprising: a nipple adapter comprising a nipple adapter body having a nipple adapter input opening, a nipple adapter output opening and a nipple adapter central lumen extending therebetween, and further wherein the nipple adapter body comprises a nipple adapter seat; and an elbow adapter comprising an elbow adapter body having an elbow adapter input opening, an elbow adapter output opening and an elbow adapter passageway extending therebetween, wherein the elbow adapter body comprises an elbow adapter seat; wherein the flange of the liner discharge fitment is configured to be seated against (i) the nipple adapter seat, and (ii) the elbow adapter seat.
