A 3 in 1 reverse vending machine. A vending machine that is solar powered and accepts bottles and cans made of plastic, aluminum, and glass. The machine includes a conveyor system, barcode reader and cleaning system, this prepares the bottle and cans to be shredded and then granulated into small pieces. The machine houses a delivery system that carries the smaller pieces of processed material to its predetermined receptacle for storage. Each bottle and can has a monetary value once received by the machine that will be issued to the user once all bottles and cans are received and calculated per user per transaction.

A trash receptacle for separating liquids and solids is disclosed. An example embodiment includes: a lid unit including a sink area for receiving waste liquids and a chute area for receiving waste solids; a reservoir tank for retaining the waste liquids, the sink area including a connecting tube coupling the sink area to the reservoir tank and enabling the waste liquids to flow from the sink area into the reservoir tank; and the lid unit being configured to fit over the reservoir tank and an opening of a trash container.

The invention is a container that integrates a garbage can to store waste and waste generated in the environment and a flowerpot to beautify the environment.

A recycling container with holes and slots that allow materials to be inserted one at a time into the container in an attempt to prevent non-recyclable material from being inserted into the recycling container. The recycling container further comprises a locking mechanism to restrict opening, and possibly wheels, a method of preventing materials from being withdrawn from the recycling container, a shelf to separate types of materials, and a drain.

A refuse organizing assembly includes a box that may be positioned on the support surface and the box has a plurality of compartments therein. A first container is provided and recyclable refuse is placed in the first container for garage collection. The first container is removably positioned in a selected one of the compartments. A trolley system for collecting and compacting rubbish in a vehicle has a trolley housing with two chambers formed therein with respective housing openings and a rubbish compacting device. The first and second chambers, and the first and second housing openings are arranged concentrically along a main direction of extent of the housing upper side or of the housing base. The openings are arranged above the second chamber. A sliding surface is arranged below the first opening and extends from an edge of the first opening, which edge is directed towards the second opening, to an edge of the first chamber, which edge is directed towards the second chamber. The compacting device arranged above the first chamber is designed to move a pressing plate between a starting position close to the housing upper side to a position lowered in the direction of the housing base to compact rubbish within the first chamber.

A receptacle is disclosed for containing waste. The waste receptacle may have a container with at least one opening, and a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of rubbish being deposited through the at least one opening. The waste receptacle may also have a public-use device operatively connected to the container, and a controller in communication with the sensor and the public-use device. The controller may be configured to selectively provide access to the public-use device based on the signal.

A storage container that is suitable for storing waste outdoors, including pet waste is described. The storage container has a smaller container inside a large container with a lid the fits over and interior lip or the exterior of the outer container. In one embodiment, a method for storing waste is disclosed by using an inner container inside a larger outer container with a lid that may have an item on top that can serve as a decorative item as well as a handle. A method for using this device is detailed as well as a method of manufacturing the device.

The disclosure describes waste receptacles for processing waste comprising a waste portal configured to accept waste deposited by an end user, a waste analysis unit positioned proximate to the waste portal, a waste conveyor connected to the waste portal, a paddle or robotic member positioned over the waste conveyor and configured to push the waste off the waste conveyor and into a grinder or into a waste commodity container.

The present disclosure relates to a waste bin for waste paper products and other waste, the waste bin including a frame for supporting at least two, preferably exactly two, compartments; an upper compartment supported by the frame and configured to receive waste paper product, in particular, paper towels; and a lower compartment supported by the frame and configured to receive other types of waste; wherein the upper compartment is arranged above the lower compartment in a vertical direction of the waste bin, wherein the lower compartment comprises a liquid-impermeable bottom section and, preferably, liquid-impermeable side-wall sections, and wherein at least one of the upper and lower compartments is detachable from the frame, and wherein each of the upper compartment and the lower compartment is accessible for introducing waste material thereinto independently from the respective other compartment.
