Trash can assembly and method of use
A trash can assembly and method of use. An inner can has a first space and includes a first inner seal circumscribing an outer surface of the inner can, an inner opening and an inner valve configured to close and expose the inner opening. A trash bag is positioned within the first space and coupled to the inner can to form a substantially air-tight seal between the trash bag and the inner can. An outer can having a second space includes an outer opening and an outer valve configured to close and expose the outer opening. The inner can is positioned within the second space. The first inner seal is configured to form a substantially air-tight seal between the first inner seal and the outer can. The inner valve is closed when the outer valve is opened, and the inner valve is opened when the outer valve is closed.
WASTE BASKET LINER SECURING APPARATUS
A waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus including a pair of liner bag retaining apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket to receive and secure a waste basket liner bag. Reusable aperture covers can be secured over the apertures to occlude the apertures. In another embodiment, the waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus includes hook inserts secured to either side of a waste basket to provide hooks for retaining an end of a waste basket liner bag. In another embodiment, two sets of magnets, each set formed within, or secured to inner surfaces of, opposing waste basket container walls of a waste basket container that secured magnetized hooks. In a further embodiment, a waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus includes apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket container, each with a retractable cover to secure portions of a liner bag in the apertures. The retractable covers may include rotatable bag retaining tabs.
TRASH RECEPTACLE LINER
A device for lining a trash receptacle; the device includes a body and a top-lip, the top-lip configured to attach to a top of the trash receptacle. In some embodiments, a zip tie is provided to tighten the top-lip around the top of the trash receptacle. The device has a structured base allowing the device to stand up-right whilst in the trash receptacle. In some embodiments, the device includes a handle to allow for quick and easy removal of the device from the trash receptacle.
Waste Receptacle Assembly
A waste receptacle assembly having a shell, a lid, and a pivotably attached door with a handle that opens outward. The inner shell of the waste receptacle assembly includes clips for securing a trash bag.
FILM-DISPENSING CASSETTE AND RIMMED BAG FOR WASTE-DISPOSAL UNIT
A film-supporting device is used with a waste-disposal unit. The device comprises an annular body. The annular body has an annular wall. The inward radial surface of the wall defines a central opening of the body. The outline of the central opening in a transverse plane of the device has variable diametrical dimensions with a first diameter of greater dimension than the second diameter. The outline has two of the first diameter of generally equal dimension and two of the second diameter of generally equal dimension. The device has tubular film about an outward radial surface of the annular body. A free annular end is dispensed outwardly from the annular wall. The free annular end is closed to form a bag. The opening of the bag is accessible through the central opening and is of optimized shape via the central opening for the disposal of waste. A method for disposing of waste on a scooping tool is also provided.
In another embodiment, the waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus includes two sets of magnets, each set formed within, or secured to inner surfaces of, opposing waste basket container walls of a waste basket container. Magnetized hooks are positioned over a selected magnet in each set to permit retention of a liner bag. In a further embodiment, a waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus includes apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket container, each with a retractable cover to secure portions of a liner bag in the apertures. The retractable covers may include rotatable bag retaining tabs.
Bag Receptacle Holder Apparatus
An apparatus used with a sleeve style receptacle to make an animal waste bag holder apparatus. The apparatus includes a cylindrical sleeve, a holder configured to temporarily hold a plastic bag inside the sleeve that includes a bolt that extends through a hole formed on the sleeve, a lock washer that attaches to the shaft to hold the shaft inside the side hole, a flange nut with internal threads that selectively attaches to the end of the shaft configured to press against the outside surface of the cylindrical sleeve. During use, a bag is inserted into the sleeve so the top edge of the bag fold over the sleeve and positioned adjacent to the hole. When the flange nut is tightened on the shaft, it eventually presses against the portion of the bag adjacent to the side hole. When further tightened, the flange nut pulls the portion of the bag around the shaft causing it to tighten around the sleeve.
Waste Basket Liner Securing Apparatus
A waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus including a pair of liner bag retaining apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket to receive and secure a waste basket liner bag. The apertures may be formed with frangible, removable segments to maintain the continuous structure of a waste basket. Reusable aperture covers can be secured over the apertures to occlude the apertures. The retractable covers may include rotatable bag retaining tabs to further secure a waste basket liner bag. Alternative liner bag retention modules with retractable covers and rotatable tabs are secured to waste basket container walls to secure liner bags.
VENTILATED TRASH CAN
A trash can that includes: four sides where the four sides include two first opposing sides and two second opposing sides; a vent system at the bottom of each second opposing side; and a top opening. The vent system preferably includes a plurality of holes, wherein the holes include air fresheners.
WASTE DISPOSAL DEVICE AND CASSETTE INTERFACE
An interface for a waste disposal device includes a cassette and a waste disposal device. Features of the interface reside on the cassette and on the waste disposal device. The interface permits connection of the cassette into the waste disposal device to assist with proper insertion and/or attachment of the cassette to the waste disposal device. In one embodiment, one or more latch features in the waste disposal device engage with one or more ramp features on the cassette body.
