A 3 in 1 reverse vending machine. A vending machine that is solar powered and accepts bottles and cans made of plastic, aluminum, and glass. The machine includes a conveyor system, barcode reader and cleaning system, this prepares the bottle and cans to be shredded and then granulated into small pieces. The machine houses a delivery system that carries the smaller pieces of processed material to its predetermined receptacle for storage. Each bottle and can has a monetary value once received by the machine that will be issued to the user once all bottles and cans are received and calculated per user per transaction.

TRASH COMPACTOR SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A trash compactor system includes a receptacle defining a retaining chamber that is configured to receive and retain trash, a compaction plate moveably secured within the retaining chamber, and a foot pedal operatively coupled to the compaction plate. Engagement of the foot pedal moves the compaction plate within the retaining chamber to compact the trash retained within the retaining chamber. A flap may cover an opening into the retaining chamber. The foot pedal may also be operatively coupled to the flap, such that the engagement of the foot pedal moves the flap into an open position that exposes the opening.

Provided herein is a disclosure of a refuse container including a typical plastic refuse bag article therein that is inaccessible without opening the container itself. Such a refuse container is provided with a locked door component that leads to a removable inner receptacle with a top-placed cover sleeve. Such an inner receptacle slides into place under above-extended structures that under which the cover sleeve is positioned, the above-extended structures including an opening that leads to the positioned sleeve with a like-shaped opening therein. Additionally, the refuse container includes an outer opening along a side portion thereof that leads to a curved ramp itself leading to the opening aligned with the cover sleeve and inner receptacle. With this overall design, a plastic bag and cannot be removed without sliding the inner receptacle with the locked door opened.

A compaction capable receptacle may include a housing with a trash receiving opening, a compaction unit arranged within the housing, and a trash bin arranged within the housing and articulable between a compaction position within the housing and a trash receiving position within the housing, the compaction position aligning the trash bin with a compaction stroke of the compaction unit and the trash receiving position aligning a portion of the trash bin with the trash receiving opening.

The caddy generally has an upper section with a carrying handle for holding cleaning tools and a lower section used as a storage bin for dirty or contaminated items. In operation, the upper tray is removably fastened to the lower bin wherein the tray acts as a cover for the storage bin with the sidewalls of the storage tray positioned above the lower bin. Accordingly, the entire storage bin opening is covered by the tray when the upper section is fastened thereto. Additionally, a chute extends through the storage tray for depositing dirty or contaminated materials without unfastening the upper section from the lower section. Thus, unused or otherwise clean items are separated from dirty items while still being sufficiently held in a single caddy.
