A container is provided. A main body has a barrel body and a cover body, the cover body is normally in a first position and optionally movable to a second position. An electronic processing unit is arranged on the main body. A sensing device, a power connecting device and a driving device are arranged on the main body and electrically connected to the electronic processing unit. When the cover body is in the first position, the cover body covers the placement opening, the cover body and the barrel body are in a fixed relative position; and when the cover body is in the second position, the cover body is remote from the placement opening. When the cover body receives an external force to move away from the barrel body, the driving device actuates the cover body to move from the first position to the second position.

A container is provided. A container assembly includes a a container body having a side wall extending upward from a base to define a mouth. A lid is pivotably secured to the container body and is pivotable between an open position and a closed position over the mouth of the container body. An outdoor garbage container is an apparatus that retains garbage outdoors for collection without fluids collecting within or under the apparatus under any weather condition. The apparatus may include a wheeled receptacle, a storable lid, a base riser, and a handle assembly. The wheeled receptacle is a hollow structure large enough to retain a desired amount of garbage. A hinge arrangement having a first hinge part and having a second hinge part, which are connected to one another such that they can pivot, a first hinge pin being formed on the first hinge part, on which a first hinge sleeve is pivotably mounted, which forms a first sliding bearing with the first hinge pin, a dimensionally stable support part being connected to the first hinge sleeve. The invention in one form is directed to a trash receptacle and lid assembly configured to aid in the prevention of fires having a rim-stop on the lid, that prevents the lid from being opened beyond the point where the lid center of gravity is located in the open position to ensure that the lid stays closed.

The invention generally relates to a closure device for waste containers, particularly residential or commercial waste containers. In particular, the invention relates to a waste container closure device which prevents the lid from opening when the container is accidentally tipped over on its side. The closure device contains two straps: a right side strap and a left side strap; two mounting devices: a right side mounting device and a left side mounting device; and one or more elastic members. Those components cooperate to allow the straps to connect over the top of the lid of the waste container to remain closed when it is accidentally tipped on its side.
