Locking device
The present invention generally relates to waste containers and, more particularly, relates to a safety locking device for waste containers. The locking device contains a base unit and a pivoting unit pivotally mounted to the base unit. The base unit contains a pinion member, having a cam thereon, non-movably attached to the base member. The pivoting unit includes a lock casing defining a cavity which houses a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism contains a locking member which is pivotally movable between a blocking position to prevent relative movement between the pivoting unit and the base unit, and a release position to permit the relative movement between the pivoting unit and the base unit.
TRASH CAN
A trash can that includes a frame, a liner, and a lid. The frame has a base and a casing supported on the base. The liner is removably disposed within a cavity of the casing. The lid is coupled to and rotatable relative to the frame between a closed position, in which the liner is concealed, and an open position, in which the liner is accessible. The lid is rotatably coupled to the frame by a hinge, such that the hinge and the lid do not extend rearward a rear surface of the casing in the open position.
KITCHEN GARBAGE CAN
Provided is a kitchen garbage can; the upper edge of the garbage can is equipped with a side slide can cover; when the can lid (2) is opened, it slides along the sides of the opening to the outer side wall of the garbage can; when opened and closed, the lid is only slightly higher than the top of the garbage can body; as a rear-hung garbage can, it does not affect the normal operation of the kitchen countertop when hung near the countertop, and may also be placed on the floor and used as an ordinary garbage can; the garbage can has the features of a reasonable structure, convenience and hygiene.
Inductive cover assembly and trash can having same
An inductive cover assembly is configured to connect a can body of a trash can. A side of the can body is provided with an assembly groove extending downward. The inductive cover assembly includes an insert, and an inductive ring and a cover that are hinged to the insert. The assembly groove and the insert are pluggably connected, so as to allow the inductive cover assembly detachably arranged on the can body. Therefore, there is no need to remove the inductive cover assembly during the replacement of trash bags.
Automatic Gravity Enforced Looking Device for a Wheeled Trash Container with Hinged Lid
The present disclosure relates to an automatic gravity inforced lid locking device offered for purchase to the general public, self-appliable and removable by hook and strap to the outer surface of a residential plastic wheeled trash container instantanously. Certain unauthorized measures to attach many other types of gravity inforced mechanisms onto commerical owned disposal service containers have proven unfavorable due to the damage on the receptacles when drilled with holes to affix the devices. This can be a costly mistake to the customer indicated by a higher charge on their bill due to alterations of private property. Whereas, the present disclosure is a low profile locking mechanism and is automated public utility company friendly. Other specific examples of locking mechanisms (unless privately owned) for trash containers, do not attempt, at the very least, to address the complicated technique for mounting these devices or the numerical value to the utility waste service company on the destructive result to the rented receptacles. Rather, the present disclosure relates to further improve the means of locking a wheeled trash container lid, wherein the device keeps the lid of said trash container locked by gently holding it firmly closed until either a user manually releases a counterweight that unlockes the mechanism or is unlocked from a locked position as the standing upright container is tilted forward and empied by a curbside commerical disposal truck. Therefore, the spirit of the self-appliable and removable means of the present disclosure verses the alternative descision of other devices to modify waste receptacles by drilling holes into them for attachable means, defines a less destructive solution.
TRASH CAN WITH RODENT GUARD AND LATCHING LID
The trash can with rodent guard and latching lid is a container. The trash can with rodent guard and latching lid is configured for use in storing refuse. The trash can with rodent guard and latching lid forms a protected space used to contain the refuse. The protected space inhibits the ability of animals to gain access to the refuse contained in the protected space. The trash can with rodent guard and latching lid comprises a trash bin and a sheath structure. The sheath structure forms a sleeve that encloses a portion of the trash bin.
Portable air-tight water-tight reusable trash receptacle
A system and method for preventing leaks from rubbish containing liquids and noxious smells has an air-tight and water-tight reusable trash receptacle. The receptacle uses an inner ring and an outer ring to secure a trash bag. A lid contains a seal such that an air-tight and water-tight seal is formed when the lid is engaged with the outer ring. The outer ring has a seal that engages the trash bag such that an air-tight and water-tight seal is formed when the outer ring is engaged with the liner on the inner ring. A fabric cover attaches to the outer ring and protects and hides the trash bag held within. The lid is attached to the outer ring in a variety of ways, including hinges, threads, tether, and tabs. The outer ring secures to the inner ring in a number of ways including threads, clips, and tabs.
Closure device for waste container
The invention generally relates to a closure device for waste containers, particularly residential or commercial waste containers. In particular, the invention relates to a waste container closure device which prevents the lid from opening when the container is accidentally tipped over on its side. The closure device contains two straps: a right side strap and a left side strap; two mounting devices: a right side mounting device and a left side mounting device; and one or more elastic members. Those components cooperate to allow the straps to connect over the top of the lid of the waste container to remain closed when it is accidentally tipped on its side.
LOCKING DEVICE AND METHODS
The present invention provides a locking device for containers, such as waste containers. The locking device comprises a rolling member. When the locking device is in its upright position, the rolling member blocks the locking device from being able to rotate to an open position. When the locking device is tilted, the rolling member rolls to its release position which allows the locking device to rotate to the open position. The locking device also include a manual release mechanism for a user to manually place the rolling member into the release position, so that he/she can manually open the locking device when it is in the upright position.
EASY OPEN CONTAINER
A container is provided. The container comprises a cover, a base, and a body, which includes one or more spine structures and one or more door panels which may open and allow substantially lateral access to the interior of the container. The one or more door panels may be secured in a closed position by a latch mechanism. In a first mode, the latch mechanism is not released. In a second mode, the latch mechanism is released. The first mode and the second mode may operate concurrently and can be accessed separately via different mechanisms. A switch mechanism may alternate between the first mode and the second mode. Alternatively, a pedal includes a first pedal mechanism corresponding to the first mode and a second pedal mechanism corresponding to the second mode.
