A fishing device with hook storage is provided for use in association with the performance of fishing and other similar activities, and more particularly, to a rod-mountable fishing device configured as a hook keeper exhibiting an integrated aesthetic appearance wherein various features provide for hook storage in multiple configurations.

A cover for hooks of fishing lures has a body having a first half and a second half, which are connected together by a resilient biased hinge. A plurality of teeth are formed on the first half and the second half and gaps are formed between each of the teeth. The first half and the second half each have a cavity for retaining one or more hooks of a fishing lure. The first half and the second half each have a sloped end face to facilitate removal of the hook and the fishing lure from the cover. Hooks and clips are provided for securing the cover to a fishing pole.

The present invention pertains to a hook keeper for quickly securing a hook attached to a fishing line of a fishing device for protecting the hook itself and nearby objects during storage or transport. The hook keeper includes a rotating hooking pad, a retaining cap, an anchor sleeve with an internal compression plug, and a binding wrap for fastening the hook keeper to a line guide of a fishing device. The binding wrap passes through one or more slits in the retaining cap on opposite sides of the anchor sleeve forming a fastening loop to couple to the line guide. When tightened, the binding wrap secures the hook keeper to the line guide while allowing the hooking pad to rotate clear of a hole in the line guide.

A fishing hook cover device is provided. The device is comprised of a buoyant device designed to prevent the loss of a fishing rod if dropped in water, while also securing the fishing hook and lure to prevent injury or snagging. The device comprises a body made of waterproof, buoyant foam material that can float and increase the visibility of the rod in low-light conditions through the use of bright colors or reflective elements. The body is typically cylindrical and split into two semi-cylindrical halves connected by a hinge, which can be locked together around the rod, hook, and lure using a locking mechanism.
