Waist Wearable Fishing Kit
A waist wearable fishing kit enabling impromptu fishing includes a strap and a fishing rod. A first and a second coupler, which are complementary, are coupled to a first and a second end of the strap, respectively. The strap is configured to loopedly position around a waist of a user, positioning the second coupler to couple to the first coupler. A pouch, which is water-impermeable, is coupled to the strap. An aperture that is positioned in a top of the pouch is configured to allow access to the pouch. A closure that is coupled to the pouch proximate to the aperture is positioned to selectively sealably close the aperture. A reel fitted with a line is coupled to the fishing rod, which comprises a plurality of sections that are selectively interconnectable so that the fishing rod is collapsible to stow in the pouch, positioning the user for impromptu fishing.
HIKING FISHING POLE
A hiking fishing pole is configured to be used for outdoor activities. The hiking fishing pole has a head arranged against a threaded rod and inserted into a first end of a handle. A top tube is arranged inside the handle and connected to a top tube connector with at least one line ring. A middle tube is connected inside the top tube connector with a cam lever. A bottom connector is joined to the middle tube and a bottom tube with a second cam lever and at least one line ring. A basket is joined to the bottom connector and further comprising a line opening.
Outrigger clamp
An outrigger clamp to couple together two or more nestable tubes. The clamp can include a guide for retaining filament. The guide can rotate about an axis based on the forces applied to the outrigger to better align the filament and guides, and therefore align the forces applied to the outrigger and filament. The retainer can be, for example, one or more rollers that help prevent the filament from becoming creased or kinked during use.

Tip rod and fishing rod having the same
A tip rod made of a fiber reinforced resin has a solid structure at least at its distal end portion. The tip rod is formed by dispersing reinforcement fibers in a matrix resin, molding the matrix resin that contains the reinforcement fibers into a prescribed shape, and heating the molded matrix resin that contains the reinforcement fibers to be cured. An average diameter of the reinforcement fibers is 3 to 15 m, an average length of the reinforcement fibers is 0.5 to 10 mm, a content of the fibers dispersed in the matrix resin is 3 to 50 wt %. The solid structure of the tip rod includes an outer layer, an intermediate layer, and an inner layer in which the reinforcement fibers are directed in a different direction for each layer. Alternatively the structure may include the outer layer and the inner layer.
Internal line telescopic fishing rod
A fishing rod includes at least three telescopic sections: a first section, N0, a last tip section, and an intermediate section. The first section defines a line input passage on the periphery thereof. The rod goes from fully retracted to deployed positions, and a semi-retracted position, called the line input position, in which section N0+i, i1, is deployed with respect to section N0 and in which the tip is received into such section. A first retainer abuts, in the semi-retracted position, against the tip to retain the tip with respect to section and prevent it from reaching the line input passage. A second retainer holds the tip in the semi-retracted position when subjected to forces of less than 10 N tending to move it away from section N0, in a location at less than 30 centimetres, from a position of abutment against the first retainer.
Telescoping Fishing Rod Assembly
This invention relates to a hollow telescoping fishing rod assembly with an inventive mounting block on the handle that aligns a hollow rod with a fishing reel so that the fishing line port of the reel is axially aligned with the opening in the proximal end of the hollow fishing rod. In some embodiments, the mounting block has a hinging mechanism to provide access to the end of the rod. The rod is segmented and provided with internal ferrules that reduce wear on the fishing line.
Fly Fishing System
A fly fishing system is provided comprised of a body that can receive a fly fishing reel. The body can be secured to a belt of a user when in use such that the reel is supported without the use of the user's hands. In addition, the system is comprised of a telescopic fly fishing rod that is hollow such that a fishing line can be fed through the rod without the need for guides/eyelets found on traditional fly fishing rods. When not in use, the rod can be collapsed and stored on the body.
Adjustable fly fishing rod system with transversely loadable line guides
A modular fly fishing rod system includes elongated rod blanks configured for mutual end-to-end removable engagement, with adjacent rod blanks having mutually distinct transverse cross-sections to form a rod portion extending from a proximal end having a relatively large transverse cross-section, to a distal end having a relatively small transverse cross-section. The rod blanks include intermediate rod blanks and a tip top rod blank, in which each intermediate rod blank has one or more helical line guides configured to permit the fishing line to be moved transversely into and out of engagement therewith. A handle has a reel seat to support a fishing reel, and a chuck configured to releasably engage any of the rod blanks, wherein the handle may be selectively used with the tip top rod blank alone or with one or more of the intermediate rod blanks engaged therebetween to selectively vary the length of the rod portion.
Outrigger Clamp with Attachment Point
An outrigger clamp to couple together two or more nestable tubes. The clamp includes a guide for retaining filament, and an attachment point for receiving accessories without interfering with the filament and guides. The guide and attachment point can rotate about an axis based on the forces applied to the outrigger to better align the filament and guides, and therefore align the forces applied to the outrigger and filament. The retainer can be, for example, one or more rollers that help prevent the filament from becoming creased or kinked during use.
