A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body assembly coupled to the chassis where the body assembly defines a refuse compartment, and a lift assembly pivotably coupled to the body assembly. The lift assembly includes a first lift arm, a second lift arm, a pin having a first end coupled to the first lift arm and an opposing second end coupled to the second lift arm, a pair of forks pivotably coupled to the first lift arm and the second lift arm, an electric lift actuator coupled to the pin, and an electric fork actuator coupled to the pair of forks. The electric lift actuator is configured to rotate the pin to lift the first lift arm and the second lift arm. The electric fork actuator is configured to pivot the pair of forks relative to the first lift arm and the second lift arm.
REFUSE VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A refuse vehicle includes a body coupled to a chassis and defining a refuse compartment configured to store refuse, a refuse collection arm configured to engage and lift a refuse container to unload refuse, and an object detection system configured to provide object detection data relating to locations of objects relative to the refuse vehicle. An actuator controls movement of the refuse collection arm. A controller is configured to use the object detection data to determine if the refuse container is present within an aligned zone relative to the chassis, the aligned zone representing a range of locations in which the refuse collection arm is capable of engaging the refuse container. In response to a determination that the refuse container is within the aligned zone, the controller is configured to provide an indication to an operator that the refuse container is within the aligned zone.
ELECTRIC SIDE LOADER ARMS FOR ELECTRIC REFUSE VEHICLE
A refuse vehicle includes a chassis, a body assembly, and an automated reach arm. The body assembly is coupled to the chassis and defines a refuse compartment configured to store refuse material. The automated reach arm includes a refuse container engagement mechanism, at least one electrically driven actuation mechanism, a first slew motor, and a second slew motor. The refuse container engagement mechanism is configured to selectively engage a refuse container. The at least one electrically driven actuation mechanism is configured to selectively actuate the automated reach arm between an extended position, a retracted position, and a refuse-dumping position. The first slew motor is configured to selectively swing the automated reach arm with respect to the body assembly about a first axis. The second slew motor is configured to selectively swing the refuse container engagement mechanism with respect to a second axis that is parallel to the first axis.
Refuse vehicle control system
A vehicle includes a chassis, a body, a lift assembly coupled to the body, a collection arm assembly coupled to the lift assembly and including a pair of interface members configured to engage an object, an object detection system configured to provide object detection data, and controller. The controller is configured to receive an indication, based on the object detection data, that the object is within an aligned zone relative to the body, determine an initial location of the object relative to the body, move the lift assembly so that the pair of interface members are aligned to engage the object, actuate the collection arm assembly to engage the pair of interface members with the object, and instruct the lift assembly to raise the object relative to the body.

A refuse vehicle can include a battery, a display device, a door, and a control system. The batter can power the refuse vehicle. The display device can display one or more user interfaces. The control system can include one or more memory devices. The one or more memory devices can store instructions that can cause, when executed by one or more processors, the one or more processors to determine a state of charge of the battery, detect that the door has moved from a first position to a second position, and transmit a control signal to the display device causing the display device to display a user interface including the state of charge of the battery.

A vehicle includes a chassis, a body coupled to the chassis, a lift assembly coupled to the body, a collection arm assembly coupled to the lift assembly and including a pair of interface members configured to engage an object, an object detection system configured to provide object detection data, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive an indication, based on the object detection data, that the object is within an aligned zone relative to the body, provide instructions on a display that, when performed, result in the lift assembly moving so that the pair of interface members are aligned to engage the object, and the collection arm assembly actuating and engaging the pair of interface members with the object.

The lift apparatus includes a track and a grabber assembly. The track includes a straight portion and a curved portion. The grabber assembly releasably grasps a refuse container and ascends or descends the track to lift and empty refuse into a body of the refuse vehicle. The reach assembly includes an outer member, a first extendable member, and a second extendable member. The first extendable member is received within an inner volume of the outer member and translates relative to the outer member. The second extendable member is received within an inner volume of the first extendable member and translates relative to the first extendable member. The lift apparatus is fixedly coupled at an outer end of the second extendable member.

A system for lifting and tipping a bin containing solid waste materials in a container body and for compacting the solid waste materials in the container body includes a motor, a packer plate, and at least one linkage assembly operatively connected to the motor. When the motor is operated, the at least one linkage assembly is configured for lifting the bin above the container body, tipping the bin, pivoting the packer plate from a retracted position to a compacting position and then from the compacting position to the retracted position, and lowering the bin back down. A solid waste materials collection and compaction container assembly has a container body and a system for lifting and tipping a bin in the container body, and for compacting solid waste materials in the container body.
Single Arm Lifter Assembly For Intermediate Refuse Collection Container
A lifter assembly is provided for engaging or capturing a residential refuse collection cart spaced laterally from an associated intermediate container and for emptying the contents of the residential refuse collection cart into the intermediate. The lifter assembly includes a base configured to be secured to the intermediate container, a first elongated member (or mast) having a first end pivotably mounted to the base and a second end pivotably connected to the first end of a second elongated member (or flipper). A cart gripper assembly is rotatably mounted to the second end of the second elongated member for selectively gripping and releasing a residential refuse collection container.
