Aquaponic system
An aquaponic system, having at least one farming section; each farming section has an aquaculture unit, a vegetable farming unit and a water circulation unit; the aquaculture unit has an outer tank and an aquaculture tank inside the outer tank; the vegetable farming unit has a vegetable farming column and a water collection tank at a bottom part thereof; the water circulation unit has a filter tank, a water pump, and at least one guiding pipe extending from the aquaculture tank to the vegetable farming column; a water inlet of the filter tank is connected with a water outlet of the aquaculture tank; a water outlet of the filter tank is connected with a water inlet of the aquaculture tank; one end of the water pump is connected with the water collection tank, another end of the water pump is connected with the aquaculture tank.
Indoor aquaponics assembly
The present invention relates to an indoor aquaponics assembly which includes a base, an aquarium positioned above and supported by the base, a planter positioned above the aquarium, an aquarium conduit and a planter conduit. The planter is provided with at least two through holes facing towards the aquarium, one being adapted for a water drainage tube to pass through for draining water from the planter to the aquarium, and one being adapted for a tube of a pump to pass through for pumping water from the aquarium to the planter. The present invention aims at reducing the time and efforts required for caring and maintaining the aquarium and the plants.
TEST DEVICE FOR NONINVASIVE TESTING OF FISH HABITAT SELECTION AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A test device for noninvasive testing of fish habitat selection and application thereof is described herein. The device includes a camera device, a water circulating system, a fish transporting barrel, and a test water tank. The fish transporting barrel is a water barrel with an openable bottom. The central area of the test water tank is arranged as a closed adaptation area, a water outlet is formed in the bottom of the adaptation area. Fish passages are formed in the adaptation area. Test areas with equal sizes are formed around the adaptation area through partition plates. A water inlet is formed in each test area. Water flow buffering plates are arranged corresponding to the water inlets. Fish passages are formed in the bottoms of the partition plates of the test areas. The water inlets of the test areas are connected to the water circulating system.
TANK PROVIDED WITH A HATCH AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING ACCESS TO THE TANK
A tank for water has a bottom and a surrounding wall with an inside and an outside. In a lower portion, the wall is provided with a hatch casing positioned in a hatch opening extending through the wall for access by personnel from the outside to the inside of the tank. The hatch casing is provided with a hatch with an inside and an outside. The hatch in a closed position closes the hatch opening in a liquid-tight manner. The inside of the hatch is flush with the inside of the wall when the hatch is in the closed position. A method for giving personnel access to the tank through the hatch opening is also described.
DEVICE FOR CULTIVATING FISH LARVAE AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING THE DEVICE
A device for high density culture of fish larvae includes: a nursery tank, a first aerotube, a standing mesh drain pipe, and a dual-drain recirculating water treatment system. The nursery tank is a rounded corner tank or a polygonal tank without dead corners. The first aerotube is disposed around the bottom of the inner wall of the nursery tank. The standing mesh drain pipe is disposed in the center of the bottom of the nursery tank. The dual-drain recirculating water treatment system includes a first water treatment system and a second water treatment system. The first water treatment system and the second water treatment system are symmetrically disposed on both sides of the nursery tank, respectively. The first water treatment system is configured to purify upper layer water of the nursery tank, and the second water treatment system is configured to purify lower layer water of the nursery tank.
Systems and methods for automated control of animal training and discrimination learning
Monitoring systems and methods for tracking movement of one or more animals in an enclosure, such as a fish tank, include introducing various stimuli, such as food, light, and auditory stimuli, and tracking the movement of the animals in response to these stimuli. Movement patterns of the animals can be determined and analyzed from data obtain from cameras that record images/videos of the relevant portions of the enclosure.
MODULAR HABITAT SYSTEM AND METHOD
Modular habitat structure (MHS) which accommodates one or more live inhabitants is comprised of a rigid pillar which extends linearly away from a base end toward an upper end. A plurality of major system components disposed at different locations along a length of the rigid pillar are each comprised of modular segments. A control unit controls a plurality of electronic devices integrated in the MHS, including one or more video cameras which generate live video streams of a wildlife habitat within the MHS, and communicates the video streams from the MHS to a remote computing device.
WATER TANK SET WITH FILTER
In a water tank set with a filter, which includes the filter within a water tank main body, the water tank main body is formed in a vessel-shape having an upper surface thereof opened, storage water being to be stored in the water tank main body, the filter being provided in an interior of the water tank main body. The water tank main body and a filter case of the filter are formed opaque and in a same color as each other. Accordingly, it is difficult for an appreciator who appreciates aquarium fish to see a filter, which is provided within a water tank, from outside of the water tank, thereby enhancing appreciation effects of the aquarium fish.
HOME AQUARIUM AND METHODS
An aquarium requiring no more than only a single power connection. The aquarium includes: (a) a transparent tank having a surrounding wall with an enclosure rim surrounding an open top and an opposite closed bottom wall; (b) an electrically powered lighting arrangement; (c) an electrically powered pump oriented within an interior of the tank; (d) a base supporting the tank under the bottom wall of the tank; and (e) a junction box integrally formed with the base and having an aperture arrangement accessible from adjacent the surrounding wall having an electrical power port for removable insertion of an electrical power cord to provide power for the lighting arrangement and the pump.
