STORAGE SYSTEM
A storage system (10) for storing an elongated object (26) in a substantially vertical orientation relative to a ground surface (13), the storage system including a rack (11), the rack (11) including a supporting structure (30), a first member (14) supported by the supporting structure (30) above the ground surface (13) and a second member (12) supported by the supporting structure (30) above the ground surface (13) higher than the first member (14); a first mounting element (22) securable to both the elongated object (26) and to the first member (14) together to mount the elongated object (26) to the first member (12); and a second mounting element (20) securable to both the first mounting element (22) and to the second member (12) together.
Billet support fingers for palletization
A support assembly includes a pallet table having an upper surface. A plurality of support members are configured to pass through a pallet positioned on the upper surface of the pallet table. Each support member includes a receiving surface that defines a portion of a channel extending across the support members.
METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR HANDLING NARROW ROLLS
An arrangement for handling narrow rolls comprises a flow-through warehouse, which comprises an inlet end and an outlet end. The narrow rolls are handled such that the narrow rolls are fed into the inlet end in a first direction. The flow-through warehouse further comprises at least two rack rows having a second direction transverse to said first direction, at least two isles having the second direction and carriages that move the narrow rolls into a rack and from a rack and also carry them in the second direction. At least one carriage moves along each isle, at least two isles comprise carriages that are capable of sorting the narrow rolls, and at least one carriage is sorting the narrow rolls for forming a customer stack. The customer stack is formed of several narrow rolls and delivered from the outlet end to be transported to a customer.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR MODULAR INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
A modular inventory management system or device is included. A method of using a monitoring and managing inventory using a modular inventory management system or device is also included.
Chassis stacker
A method for storing an empty trailer chassis includes positioning a trailer chassis between a first and a second vertical storage rack and lowering first and second stabilizing beams along the vertical storage racks toward the trailer chassis. The first and second stabilizing-beam trolleys are attached to the respective first and second stabilizing beams and a spreader extends between the first and second stabilizing-beam trolleys. The spreader contains a chassis clamping mechanism that forms a downward-facing portion of the spreader. The chassis clamping mechanism is disposed below the first and second stabilizing beams. The method further includes engaging the trailer chassis with the chassis clamping mechanism. The first and second stabilizing beams are above the trailer chassis when the chassis-clamping mechanism has engaged the trailer chassis.
Method and arrangement for handling narrow rolls
A method and an arrangement for handling narrow rolls in a warehouse is described. The warehouse includes at least one rack row, at least one isle, and at least one carriage arranged to move the narrow rolls into a rack and from the rack and carry the narrow rolls along the isle. A distance is arranged between the narrow rolls and the distance is maintained between the narrow rolls when the narrow rolls are in the racks of the warehouse.
HORIZONTAL STORAGE MODULE, CARRIAGE ASSEMBLY, AND CANISTER TRANSFER ASSEMBLIES
A horizontal storage module (HSM) includes a body defining a plurality of compartments configured for receiving canisters, wherein the compartments are arranged in a first row at a first elevation and a second row at a second elevation higher than the first elevation, and wherein at least a portion of one compartment in the first row is in the same horizontal axis location as at least a portion of one compartment in the second row. A method of manufacturing the HSM includes positioning adjacent segments. A carriage assembly for the HSM includes a frame and an actuation means for lifting a cask containing a canister. A method of lifting includes receiving a cask and lifting a cask for delivery of the canister to the HSM.
Warehouse storage and retrieval system for fishing rods and fishing rod blanks
A warehouse storage and retrieval system for fishing rod blanks includes a framework structure comprising a plurality of front horizontal supports, and a plurality of rear horizontal supports. The system also includes a plurality of individual storage receptacles supported between the plurality of front horizontal supports and the rear horizontal supports in a horizontal orientation, where each receptacle has an open end proximate the plurality of front horizontal supports and an opposing closed end proximate the plurality of rear horizontal supports. The system includes a plurality of fishing rod blanks within the plurality of individual storage receptacles, and each fishing rod blank having an identifying tag storing data. In addition, the system includes a database storing a spatial location of each of the fishing rod blanks corresponding to a respective individual storage receptacle within the framework structure.
System and method of handling chassis
A method (100) for handling chassis is disclosed. The method (100) can include: providing (110) a multi-level structure including a plurality of levels including a first level with an opening to receive a chassis and a second level; locating (120) a plurality of shelves adjacent to the opening including a port shelf and a starboard shelf, each configured to receive a chassis; and providing (130) an transfer mechanism configured to pick a chassis and place it on one of the plurality of shelves. The method allows compact storage, stacking and retrieving and inventorying of chassis, for enhanced logistics.
