CONVEYING SYSTEM COMPRISING FOLDING CARRIERS
The present disclosure relates to a conveying system for conveying goods, the conveying system including a conveying belt, which includes conveying modules and pins, that: (1) is drivable about turning wheels along a closed path. (2) is provided with receiving cavities, in which the conveying belt is free from conveying modules and from pins along a length greater than the intermediate distance (t) between the pins, and (3) is designed to be continuous adjacent to the lateral sides of the receiving cavities. The conveying system further includes carriers, where each carrier: (1) is hingeably attached to a pin, on a front side of a receiving cavity, between a folded-down position and a folded-up position. (2) has a height greater than a said intermediate distance (t), and (3) extends entirely within the path of the conveying belt in the receiving cavity, between said turning wheels (7), at a discharge point (X) and in the folded-down position.

Transportation apparatus and method
A conveyor (400) for transporting articles, such as coils springs, is described. The conveyor comprises a substrate (420) for supporting articles during transportation, and a plurality of retaining members (520) located on the substrate for retaining the articles during transportation. The retaining members (520) each comprise a mounting portion (530) for mounting to the substrate (420). A containment portion (540) comprises proximal and distal parts (540a) and (540b) define a space therebetween for receiving a coil spring (100) under compression. Slots (550a) and (550b) in the containment parts are aligned for receiving pushers.

Conveying and sorting apparatus
A conveying and sorting apparatus has a plurality of tilting conveyor units in a row in the conveying direction. Each tilting conveyor unit is able to switch between a horizontal conveying orientation and a tilted orientation for ejecting the object being conveyed, by means of gravity, laterally with respect to the conveying direction and has a belt conveyor with a plurality of ridge portions which extend in the width direction on the inside surface, and on the outside surface the ridge portions which extend in the width direction are provided an equivalent intervals in the length direction of the belt. A plurality of recessed grooves which engage with each of the ridge portions on the inside surface of the belt are provided to the peripheral surfaces of a front pulley and a rear pulley of the belt.

ADVANCING A BELT TOWARD A PRINTING STATION
In one example, a conveyance module to advance a belt toward a print station comprises a support structure to support a belt and to permit advance of the belt in a belt-advance direction toward a print station and a pair of guides. In this example, each guide is attached to the support structure and is to engage a portion of a belt. A first guide in the pair is attached to the support structure by a substantially rigid fastener to hold the first guide in a substantially fixed position relative to the support structure. A second guide in the pair is attached to the support structure by a resiliently deformable element to hold the second guide in a movable position relative to the support structure.
