Carriage-utilizing conveying equipment
Conveying equipment includes carriages having a frame with front and rear ends coupled to adjacent carriages by vertical support shafts and having a floor board which is supported by the frame. A floor board main portion has a protruding arc-shaped end edge concentric with one of the vertical support shafts and a floor board sub-portion which has a recessed arc-shaped end edge concentric with the other vertical support shaft. The protruding arc-shaped end edge in one carriage and the recessed arc-shaped end edge in an adjacent carriage are relatively rotatable around the common vertical support shaft located at the arc centers of each of the edges. The floor board main portion overhangs from one end of the frame in each of the carriages and is supported on an overhanging portion which overhangs from the floor board sub-portion in the adjacent carriage so as to be freely relatively rotated.
CONVEYING DEVICE CONSISTING OF A PLURALITY OF CONVEYOR-BELT SEGMENTS LINED UP ADJACENT TO EACH OTHER
A segment or a strip for a segment of a conveying device, having at least one end face, which faces a segment adjoining the segment or faces a strip on an adjoining segment, optionally a rear side and parallel ribs which extend on a top side of the segment or of the strip in the conveying direction. An end region of the ribs is beveled in the region of the end face.
Slat for a conveyor
A slat for a conveyor where the conveyor has one or more curves. The slat has landing gears carrying wheels set apart from the slat, and the wheels are capable of engaging a surface distinctive from the landing gears.
Elastomeric force mitigating joint
The technology disclosed provides a joint for connecting carrier units together so as to dissipate and absorb axial forces experienced by the carrier units. The joint may be comprised of a joint housing and an elastomeric insert. The housing may be comprised of a body portion and a head portion and the head portion may include an annular flange in which the elastomeric insert is configured to be secured. The elastomeric joint is capable of absorbing and dissipating horizontal, rotational, and vertical forces experienced by the carrier units in non-linear travel along a track.
Helical conveyor
A helical conveyor for conveying piece goods comprises a frame and an endless conveyor belt which is drivable with respect to the frame along a helical track which extends about a centerline. The conveyor belt comprises discrete supporting members each comprising a substantially rigid slat and a roller. The slats follow a first helical path including a first inclination angle along the first helical path with respect to a base plane extending perpendicularly to the centerline and a second helical path including a second inclination angle along the second helical path with respect to the base plane. Each of the rollers is mounted to the corresponding slat such that the difference of an angle between the rolling direction and the base plane and the second inclination angle is smaller than the difference between the first and second inclination angles.
Conveyor apparatus
A conveyor apparatus that conveys articles supported by a plurality of arranged article supports, the conveyor apparatus including infilling members, each being disposed between the article supports. In one embodiment, the infilling member includes a plate contact part in contact with the article support such that the upward curvature of the plate contact part is larger than that of the tray contact part of the article support corresponding to the plate contact part.
VARIABLE CONVEYOR/ELEVATOR
A conveyor/elevator for raising ovate objects includes a lower support with a contact surface having a minimum radius equal or greater than the radius of the ovate object to be moved. A side support with opposed concave surfaces which have a minimum radius equal or greater than the ovate object, wherein each surface has at least one support point for the ovate object. The concave surfaces have a last possible support point, in the direction towards the outside of the conveyor/elevator, at the intersection of a line parallel with the line of centre of gravity of the ovate object, with a distance relative to the line of a centre of gravity of the ovate object between the minimum of 2 mm and the maximum equal to the radius of the ovate object and a line perpendicular to the line of centre of gravity of the ovate object.
Flexible element for a conveyor system
A flexible element for conveying goods in a conveyor system is provided. The flexible element includes a base configured to form a top surface, a bottom surface and an intermediate surface; a conveying means detachably mounted on the top surface and; a toothed projection detachably mounted on the bottom surface; and at least one pair of wheels mounted on the intermediate surface. A conveyor system for conveying the flexible element is also provided.
CONVEYING FACILITY
A conveying facility with a drivable conveying member that forms a sheet-like main surface that faces the conveyed item and defines a conveying stretch. The conveying member includes at least one conveying element that forms at least a part of the main surface. The conveying member also includes rollers that, via roller holders, are rotatably mounted on the at least one conveying element about roller pivots and can selectively assume the state of a freewheel position, an arrested position or a drive position. The conveying facility also has at least one conveying container that lies on the conveying member in a connection-free manner, wherein the rollers project at least partly beyond the main surface of the conveying element so that the at least one conveying container lies on the rollers.
