CHAIN LINK, CONVEYING CHAIN AND CHAIN CONVEYOR
The invention relates to a chain link (1) for a chain conveyor for conveying small parts (17), in particular bottle closures, having a, in particular flat, support surface for small parts, wherein means (3) for fitting at least one carrier (14) are provided on opposite sides of the chain link. This allows the small parts to be conveyed without damage, on the other hand, the chain link (1) can be easily adapted to different types of small parts that differ in diameter and/or height. At least two carriers (14) are provided, each of which has a fastening part (15) which can be attached to a means (3) for fitting, and a gripping part (19) which is made of a softer material than the fastening part (15) and has one or more extensions (16) which, when the carrier (14) is in the fitted state, are aligned towards the respective other carrier (14).
Device for Packaging Dosed Quantities of Solid Medicines
Apparatus for packaging dosed quantities of solid medicines on the basis of a predetermined prescription, comprising: a control unit for controlling the apparatus and for receiving the prescription; a plurality of medicine holders, wherein a medicine holder is configured to hold a blister pack with medicines; a separating device for separating subject to the received prescription at least one of the medicines from a blister pack held in a medicine holder; and a packaging device configured to package the medicines separated by the separating device.
Product display and merchandizing device, system, and method
This disclosure presents a product display and merchandising device, system and method that may include multiple such product displays and merchandising devices, and a method for dispensing products to customers using such product display and merchandising device. The merchandising system may efficiently utilize storage space and provide an aesthetic display by automatically aligning different products to a front display surface. The merchandising system may use multiple holders or clips on a conveyor belt to hang and display products. A customer may pull and remove a front piece of the products. As the customer pulls the front piece of merchandise or product, the action moves the conveyor belt and brings a next piece of products forward, to the position that the front piece of the product previously occupied. As such, the merchandising system may enable customers to freely remove products and maintain a tidy and neat display of the products.
Devices and methods for can and bottle making recirculation systems
A device for transporting articles through a recirculation system for forming or processing the articles. The device includes a top portion configured to contact an article and a drive nut positioned within a first aperture of the top portion. The device includes a hub portion having a second aperture and a plurality of ejection pins extending through a respective one of a plurality of apertures of the top portion. The device includes a paddle wheel rotatably coupled to the hub portion. The paddle wheel has a first and second plurality of prongs extending radially outward and offset in generally opposing directions. The paddle wheel includes a post projecting radially inward and positioned within a third aperture. The device includes a drive screw extending through the first, second, and third apertures and having a head configured to engage the post and a threaded end is configured to engage the drive nut.
A MACHINE FOR THE PROCESSING OF LINEN ITEMS IN AN INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY, A METHOD FOR OPERATING THE MACHINE, AND AN INDUSTRIAL LAUNDRY
The present invention relates to a machine (50) for the processing of linen items (L) in an industrial laundry (1), such as for receiving, reorienting and transferring a linen item (L) from a loader (100) to a movable linen carrier (20), with a transfer mechanism (200) comprising: a carriage (250), a drive (201) for moving said carriage (250) between a loading posi-tion and a discharge position, said carriage (250) including a frame structure (257) with two spaced apart clamping structures (270), each being rotationally connected to the frame structure (257), each clamping structure (270) comprising two spaced apart activata-ble clamps (229), and actuators (251, 280) for said rotation and said activation of said clamps (229).
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HIGH-SPEED CROSS-FOLDING OF ABSORBENT SANITARY PRODUCTS
A system and method for folding a discrete absorbent sanitary product includes conveying a product in a machine direction along a main conveyor, folding the product at a first folding station, and later folding the absorbent sanitary product at a second folding station. The product is folded at each of the first and second folding stations by engaging the product with a first drum and rotating the absorbent sanitary product in a first rotational direction, contacting the product with one or more folding fingers traveling in the machine direction, engaging the product with a rotating member adjacent to the first drum and downstream therefrom in the machine direction, the rotating member rotating in the first rotational direction, and folding the product over the one or more folding fingers via rotation of the rotating member in the first rotational direction.
Apparatus for threading an intermediate transfer member of a printing system
A printing system is described that has an intermediate transfer member in the form of a seamed endless belt for transporting an ink image from an image forming station, at which an ink image is deposited on the intermediate transfer member, to an impression station, where the ink image is transferred onto a printing substrate. The belt has along its edges formations of a greater thickness than the belt. The formations are received in channels to guide the belt and maintain the belt under lateral tension. Two drive members are provided, each located within a respective one of the channels. The two drive members are connected for movement in synchronism with one another and each has a respective laterally projecting gripper shaped for form locking engagement with the formations on a leading end of a strip from which the intermediate transfer member is to be formed. Rotation of the drive members during installation of a new intermediate transfer member serves to thread the strip through the printing system by pulling the strip from its leading end.
