An apparatus for sorting and conveying, including: a cargo carrying assembly; a conveying assembly, configured to drive the cargo carrying assembly to move; where, the conveying assembly comprises a sprocket set and a chain drivingly connected to the sprocket set, the chain is pivotally connected with a roller, and the sprocket set is configured to be engaged with the roller to drive the cargo carrying assembly to move circularly; and a bearing assembly, disposed adjacent to the sprocket set and configured to bear the roller in response to the roller to be engaged with or disengaged from the sprocket set.

A sorting device and a method for sorting articles at delivery points are shown, the sorting device having a conveying device comprising transport platforms that are movable along a transport direction for transporting the articles and for delivering the articles to the delivery points, with the transport platforms having a bearing surface for the articles and with at least one transport platform having a first delivery device for vertically delivering the articles from the bearing surface to at least one first delivery point. To provide a sorting device for reliable and careful joint sorting of articles with different transport and delivery requirements, at least one transport platform has a second delivery device for laterally delivering the articles from the bearing surface to at least one second delivery point.

The invention relates to a conveyor device with at least one first and second conveyor carriage which are arranged one behind the other in the conveyor direction (F), a cross belt conveyor which is formed on at least the second conveyor carriage for conveying material to be conveyed in a cross conveyor direction (Q) oriented substantially transversely to the conveyor direction (F), and a powertrain brake for the cross belt conveyor. An operating device is arranged on the first conveyor carriage and a brake device is arranged on the second conveyor carriage. The brake device assumes the release state when the first and second conveyor carriage are traveling in a substantially straight manner, and the brake device assumes the brake state when at least one of the conveyor carriages is cornering in order to allow a movement of a cross belt of the cross belt conveyor in a cross conveyor direction (Q) when traveling in a straight manner and brake the movement when cornering.

A modular transfer system with a primary flow system and a diverter system. The primary flow system includes a primary flow belt for conveying an article along a primary flow path from an infeed side of the modular transfer system to a pass-through side of the modular transfer system. The diverter system includes one or more diverter belts for diverting an article from the primary flow path towards a divert side of the modular transfer system. The primary flow belt includes multiple movable components contacting the diverter belt. The movable components can have one or more rotational degrees of freedom.

The cross-conveyor sorter clearing apparatus enables the risk-free removal of misplaced items (Sd) during operation. The carrier basket support includes a center plate and a support post connected to the center car and first and second wing plates located on opposite sides of and pivotally connected to the center plate. The lead and trailing cars slidably support the respective wing plates there-against as the cars pivot while moving along the pathway. A carrier basket is pivotally connected to the support post and has rollers configured for rolling contact with the center, first, and/or the second wing plates, depending on an orientation of the carrier basket support.

The ratio between the diameter of at least one circumferential portion of the housing and the diameter of the respective rolling ball is between 0.8 and 0.6, while at least part of a rib is provided below, near the lower surface, with at least one respective projecting portion arranged for snap-fit insertion of the rolling ball into the respective housing seat.
