SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING, LOADING, QUEUEING, AND DELIVERY OF GOODS
A system for loading, queueing, and delivery of orders is provided having a controller, a transport arrangement including a pathway defined by a track, with a plurality of cars guided on said track, and a loading station and an unloading station located along the pathway. Carrier racks are attached to the cars to deliver orders from the loading station to the unloading station. The unloading station includes powered fingers to remove the orders from the carrier racks and deliver them to an offload and delivery sequencing arrangement that includes at least one sequential parking conveyor that can accumulate orders or batches of product prior to delivery from a present station to a customer pick-up location. This provides a flexible design of layouts for moving food products in any direction, horizontally or vertically, from inside a restaurant to a second drive-thru lane adjacent to the first lane, at distance to the restaurant building.
Cargo Carousel System for Shipping Containers and Method for Using Same
A cargo carousel system for shipping containers is provided that can include a frame configured to fit within a shipping container and a cargo carousel mechanism in the frame that can move cargo pod platforms, configured for holding cargo pods, in a continuous loop path in the frame. The system can further include two frames side-by-side in the shipping, each frame with its own cargo carousel system.
Carrier basket transporter with self-damping carrier basket pivot connection
A self-damping carrier basket pivot connection for a carrier basket transporter system having cars configured to travel along a pathway, at least some of which have a carrier basket pivotally connected thereto. The pivot connection includes a support connection configured for attachment a car. The support connection has at least three connection rollers that define a circular envelope and a mating connection configured to be attached to a back support of the carrier basket. The mating connection includes a housing with a part circular track that generally corresponds to or is larger than the circular envelope such that the rollers can be located within the part circular track. The part circular track includes at least one inwardly directed protrusion. The connection rollers engage in the part circular track such that the carrier basket is adapted to be pivotable by gravity so a product support surface of the carrier basket is maintained generally horizontal during movement of the carrier basket along the pathway, and the at least one inwardly directed protrusion provides an increased resistance to relative movement between the housing and a roller that contacts the protrusion.

The invention relates to a suspended pouch (10) acting as a container for conveyed goods for transporting goods to be conveyed in a suspended conveyor device, comprising a first pouch side wall (12) and a second pouch side wall (14) which can be unfolded and folded up to open and close a conveyed goods receiving region (16), and comprising a suspension means (20), the first pouch side wall (12) comprising a rigid edge contour region (12r) and being connected at said region to the suspension means (20) so as to be pivotable about a pivot axis (26), and the second pouch side wall (14) being connected to the suspension means (20), or said suspension means being able to act on said second side wall, in such a way that the first and second pouch side wall (12, 14) can be unfolded and folded up by pivoting the first pouch side wall (12) about the pivot axis (26), wherein the suspended pouch (10) comprises a basic unit (50) and an interchangeable element (60), the basic unit (50) comprising the suspension means (20) and the rigid edge contour region (12r), and the interchangeable element (60) comprising at least part of the second pouch side wall (14), preferably the entire second pouch side wall (14), and being provided on the basic unit (50) in a replaceable manner.
IMPROVED OVERHEAD CONVEYING DEVICE FOR AN ORDER-PICKING SYSTEM, AND TRANSPORT CARRIER FOR TRANSPORTING HANGING GOODS
An overhead conveying device for an order-picking system comprises a support structure such as a guide rail, a transport carrier movable on the support structure for transporting a hanging article, and a drive device for moving the transport carrier on the support structure. The transport carrier can have a drive wheel coupled to a motor, an energy source connected to the motor, a holding force generator by means of which the transport carrier movably adheres to the support structure, and/or a driving control and a writably and readably configured memory connected thereto. The overhead conveying device can further have a diverter with a diverter element which is movable vertically to a level of a running surface of the guide rail or away from it.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TRANSPORT CARRIERS, AND TRANSPORT CARRIER FOR TRANSPORTING HANGING GOODS ON AN OVERHEAD CONVEYING DEVICE
A method for actuating transport carriers in order to transport hanging articles on an overhead conveying device for an order-picking system includes a track marking provided along a transport path. The transport carrier is moved according to a driving specification, which is stored in a memory of the transport carrier. The track marking comprises a query marking, which marks a diverter section and at which the driving specification from the electronic memory is accessed. According to the driving specification, the transport carrier can be moved straight ahead or diverted in the diverter section. The track marking further comprises a notification marking, at which a further driving specification for subsequent diverter sections is transmitted to the transport carrier. A corresponding transport carrier and an overhead conveying device are also disclosed.
Drive device for vertical elongate units suspended from a guide rail, such as growing units for plants
Device for driving vertical units which are suspended from a guide rail for growing plants, wherein each unit comprises a first engagement element. Drive means cause the displacement members, each of which comprise a row of second engagement elements, to alternatively perform a first, outward movement and a second, inward movement. The first and second engagement elements are configured such that they engage with each other in such a way during this first movement that the units are displaced and are not displaced during the second movement. The second engagement elements are provided across the entire operating area of the one or more displacement members in such a way that the mutual distance increases. In this way, the units are guided through a growing space, with the mutual distance automatically being increased in order to give the plants more space as the growing process progresses.

A pouch (1) for a pouch sorter, wherein the pouch (1) has a divisible pouch base (2) with two pouch base halves (2.1, 2.2) which are connected to one another via a locking mechanism (3) and can be released from one another in a release position of the locking mechanism (3), wherein the locking mechanism (3) can be adjusted back and forth between a closed position and the release position by a drive (4), wherein the drive (4) has a shape memory element (5, 12) which can be supplied with an electric current via an electric power supply (7) of the pouch (1). Furthermore, a corresponding pouch sorter and a corresponding method are described.
Carrier basket transporter having carrier baskets with increased weight carrying capacity
A carrier basket support and stabilizing system for a carrier basket having increased weight carrying capacity is provided. The system includes a plurality of cars configured to travel along a pathway, with at least some support groups including two of the cars having a carrier basket support connected thereto. The carrier basket support has a support plate connected to the first car via a pivoting connection and connected to the second car by a pivoting and sliding connection such that the cars can pivot relative to the support plate and a distance between the first and second cars can change during traversal of curves along the pathway. A support connection on the support plate is configured for connection to a mating connection on a back support of the carrier basket to allow pivoting of the carrier basket so its support surface can remain generally horizontal during movement on the pathway.
CONVEYOR SYSTEM
Conveyor system for transport of food products includes a curved pathway defined by a profiled track, and wheel cars having wheels that are movably contained within and guided by the track. A removable connector is positioned between and separates a pair of the wheel cars, the wheel cars and connectors form part of a continuous transport chain extending along the pathway. The transport chain has an attachment side facing an open side of the track, and the track is arranged with the open side facing substantially horizontally such that the attachment side is oriented substantially vertically during motion of the wheel cars along the pathway. A carrier is pivotably mounted to the attachment side of the transport chain to maintain its carrier rack horizontal as the carrier travels along the pathway. The connectors reduce substantially the number of wheel cars and corresponding wheels, also reducing noise and wear during operation.
