Systems and methods for tensioning a conveyor in a mining system
A method of tensioning a conveyor element of a conveyor. The method includes generating, with a proximity sensor, an output signal indicative of the conveyor element being under-tensioned, receiving the output signal from the proximity sensor, and activating a solenoid-controlled valve to an open state in response to receiving the output signal from the proximity sensor. The method also includes driving, with a pump, a piston of a cylinder while the solenoid-controlled valve is in the open state, pushing, with the cylinder, a take-up bar including a second portion of a ratcheting mechanism to engage with a first portion of the ratcheting mechanism of a locking plate, and imparting, via the locking plate, a locking force on the take-up bar. The method further includes overcoming the locking force and moving the shaft of the conveyor away from a centerline of the conveyor with the take-up bar when the locking force is overcome.

Cam belt, particularly for agricultural machinery, produced from a polymer provided with reinforcement inserts, has cams on the inner side of the cam belt that are used to drive cam belt. A first flank faces in the running direction of cam belt and a second flank faces in opposite direction. Cams are spaced apart from one another by gaps in a predefined division, and gaps are delimited by first flank and second flank of two adjoining cams and a base which connects two flanks. During operation of cam belt carrier of a cam wheel resting against second flank of one of adjoining cams and against the base of a gap engage with the gaps. On outer side of belt, functional elements are fixed by a fastener which from inner side of the belt passes through the cam belt and the functional elements via at least one through hole.

The present invention relates to the use of a mechanical apparatus to convey a workpiece through a fluidized bed dryer. A bread conveying apparatus includes a flight conveyer including a first flight for urging a bread, an endless revolving member on which the first flight is mounted, and a driving member and a driven member, the endless revolving member being wound around the driving member and driven member, a rail extending along a conveying path of the bread and supporting the first flight, and a rail size setting unit for setting a length of the rail with respect to an extending direction of the conveying path. The length of the rail with respect to the conveying direction is set by the rail size setting unit based on a size of the bread.
