Apparatus and method for intermodal container handling
A ship to railroad intermodal freight system. In an embodiment, a conveyor system is provided for placing railroad cars in a position for loading shipping containers thereon. Railroad cars have a frame with a front end and a rear end, supported between bogies. Conveyor hooks are pivotally mounted to the frame, and a guide roller with hook guide is provided to adjustably support the conveyor hook(s) below the frame of the railroad car. A method for loading or unloading the railroad cars includes lifting a conveyor hook from a drag chain conveyor using the interaction of the guide roller with a pivot board mounted at the chain conveyor, while shipping container(s) are placed on the railroad car. By utilizing the method, efficient loading and unloading of railcars involved in ship to railroad intermodal shipments may save considerable time, and thus reduce costs.
Apparatus and methods for dynamically controlling the spacing of conveyed objects
A conveying system employs independently controlled flights. The flights are controlled separately from a conveying surface using a linear transport system. The linear transport system allow the position of the flights to be controlled based on a parameter, such as the length of a conveyed object. The flights are pivotally mounted to a mover of the linear transport system and can pivot relative to the conveying surface to allow the flights to fit in a space between an end of carryway and a receptacle.

U-shaped board unscrambler
A board unscrambler for sorting a plurality of boards comprises a frame having an entrance and an exit. The frame comprises a U-shaped accumulator near the entrance and an upwardly substantially longitudinal slope connecting the U-shaped accumulator portion to the exit. The board unscrambler further comprises a powered conveyor which substantially adopts the shape of the frame, comprising driving chains and a plurality of spaced apart catches mounted on the driving chains for mating with and displacing the boards along the frame from the U-shaped accumulator portion toward the exit. Accordingly, the board unscrambler features accumulation capability, thereby increasing efficiency and regulating performance.
Method and apparatus for intermodal container handling
A rail-road intermodal freight system. In an embodiment, a conveyor system is provided for placing rail cars in a position for loading shipping containers thereon, while an over-the-road trailer is secured to the rail car. By utilizing the method, efficient loading and unloading of train involved in intermodal shipments may save considerable time, and thus reduce costs.
Wheel roller having a log chain forging or a carrier link forging for an 88 series chain
A wheel roller for a chain conveyor of an automated carwash has a more robust configuration due to a direction connection of the wheels to the carrier link. The wheel roller contains a carrier link forging having a main body with a carrier link formed as an unitary component, pins secured to the main body in a fixed, non-pivotable manner, and wheels attached to the pins.
Container feed system for the transport of containers
A container feed system for the transport of containers along a transport path includes a pulling element, first carriers, second carriers, the first and second carriers arranged distributed at fastening points of the pulling element such that the containers are received and transported along the transport path by the first and second carriers during movement of the pulling element. The fastening points for first and second carriers of the first carriers are arranged side by side on the pulling element and have a first fastening distance and the fastening points of a third carrier of the first carriers is arranged next to a first carrier of the second carriers on the pulling element and have a second fastening distance. The second carriers have a shape that is different the first carriers such that a transport distance between the containers guided side by side along the transport path is constant.
Rotating Device For Beverages
A rotating device for beverages including a bottom case, a plurality of rollers, and a plurality of trays. The bottom case is provided with a limit track in a closed loop, the plurality of rollers are disposed on the bottom case and distributed alongside the limit track, and the plurality of trays are circular pieces having the same diameter, the circular pieces being arranged in an eclipsed conformation and trays movably disposed on the bottom case. The plurality of trays are in contact with corresponding rollers, each tray has a post on bottom, and the post are inserted in the limit track and move along the limit track.
