The loading and unloading equipment includes: a rack; a marshalling device, configured to receive packages and marshal the packages in a predetermined marshalling mode to form package groups; a pre-storage device, configured to temporarily store the package groups formed by marshalling to be taken away by a stacking device; and the stacking device, configured to remove the package groups from the pre-storage device to stacking positions. By applying the loading and unloading equipment, the loading and unloading efficiency of the packages is improved. A transport device for transporting containers having a first transport section configured to convey containers in and a second transport section configured to convey containers out. The transport device includes a transfer device having a rotary cylinder, a clamping belt and a compensation device. The clamping belt can be adjusted in the area of the transfer device. The rotary cylinder and/or the clamping belt are configured to be drivable. The rotary cylinder and the clamping belt are configured to hold the containers between the rotary cylinder and the clamping belt and to transfer them from the first transport section to the second transport section. The rotary cylinder has one or more container support rings and at least one belt support element, wherein the belt support element is arranged such that the clamping belt abuts against it when there are no containers on the transfer device.

A linear conveyor to transport an article includes a base platform provided with a stator, movers configuring the linear motor and holding members for holding an article provided on the movers. The holding member is arranged at a position which is radially outwardly apart from the traveling track of the mover by a predetermined distance. When the movers travel on a curved traveling track served by the stator, the controller controls the interval of the adjacently arranged movers to narrower than the interval when the movers travel on an immediately preceding linear traveling track, and so that when the movers travel on a linear traveling track on the stator, the interval between the adjacently arranged movers is wider than the interval when the movers travel on the immediately preceding curved traveling track, thereby setting the interval between the holding members of the adjacently arranged movers to be constant.

A conveyor system includes an upper and lower synchronized conveyors that transfer a food product, such as eggs, through a heating system to cook the food product. The lower conveyor includes a belt and the upper conveyor includes rings that are moveably held within frames.
