CONVEYOR GUIDE WALL WITH DAMPING ROLLERS
A conveyor guide wall constructed of a series of parallel columns of freely rotatable rollers. The rollers are mounted on rods retained within top and bottom rails. The rollers rotate on the rods to provide a guide that engages conveyed articles in low-friction rolling contact. Voids in the rollers increase the rollers' flexibility and help absorb impacts with conveyed articles.
Conveyor apparatus for packages and accumulator having a conveying apparatus
A conveying apparatus for advancing packages from an inlet station to an outlet station comprises an intermediate track between the inlet and outlet stations, an endless belt to engage the packages during advancement along at least the track; and a tensioning device to tension the endless belt. The tensioning device comprises a spring unit comprising first and second spring assemblies having first and second pre-loaded spring forces respectively, with the second spring force larger than the first spring force. The conveying apparatus is in a rest configuration in the absence of packages along the track and is in a loaded configuration with plural packages arranged along the track. The first spring assembly determines the spring force of the spring unit when the conveying apparatus is in the rest configuration and the second spring assembly determines the spring force of the spring unit when the conveying is in the loaded configuration.
LINEAR MOTOR CONVEYOR SYSTEM FOR CLEAN/ASEPTIC ENVIRONMENTS
A linear motor conveyor system including: at least one track section comprising: electronic circuitry housed within the track section; and a rotatable segment comprising an end profile that abuts another track section to form a stepped groove sealed by a gasket. A moving element for a linear motor conveyor system including: a body; a first set of bearings attached to the body and angled to abut against a first guide rail of a conveyor system having a protrusion with opposing angled profiles; a second set of bearing attached to the body and designed to abut against a flat profile of a second guide rail of the conveyor system. A dry lubricant provided to the body and configured to lubricate a bearing surface of the linear motor conveyor system supporting the first set of bearings.
Dynamically shaped conveyor guide apparatus and related methods
An apparatus guides at least one article traveling along a conveyor in a conveying direction, the at least one article having a shape. A plurality of guides of the apparatus guide the at least one article, such that positive control may be maintained during conveyance. The plurality of guides are dynamically adjustable in the transverse direction. At least one actuator adjusts a position of one or more of the plurality of guides based on the shape of the at least one article. Related methods are also disclosed.
Cargo transport complex
The apparatus is related to cargo transport systems, that use rail track structure as main transport for continuous hauling of lumpy and loose cargoes over distances of increased length. The claimed cargo transport complex of mounted type is installed on supports above ground (water) surface, and consists of two strands located one below the other or in one horizontal linecargo strand and return strand. The strands are separated from each other on one side by a loading drum and a turning drum, on the otherby an unloading drum and a turning drum, which form loading-unloading devices, respectively. Both strands are fixed in load-bearing carcasses installed on each of the supports, equipped with drive mechanisms, contain track structure including rail cords, which are prestressed and tensioned with longitudinal tension force F.sub.R, N, and may contain prestressed load-bearing elements, and bogies with support wheels resting thereon, positioned along the track structure with a pitch L, m, and a cargo-handling belt placed in the carcasses of the bogies, whereupon the cargo is distributed in the cargo strand, the latter is tensioned with longitudinal tension force F.sub.G, N. Noteworthy that the bogies and the cargo-handling belt accommodated therein feature a grooved profile of depth H, m, and width S, m.
STORAGE TABLE OF A PACKAGING PLANT AND DEVICE FOR IN- OR OUT-FEEDING PACKAGES INTO OR OUT OF A STORAGE LINE OF A STORAGE TABLE
The invention relates to a storage table of a packaging plant, wherein the storage table includes an infeed, an outfeed, and at least two storage lines that are loadable separately from one another and are arranged between the infeed and the outfeed. The infeed includes a loading means having a conveyor channel, wherein the loading means having the conveyor channel is designed to receive packages from a conveyor apparatus arranged upstream of the storage table and to convey the packages onwards and, in particular, to deflect the packages so that the packages can be received in at least one of the two storage lines. The loading means is designed to be adaptable, in particular as needed, in such a way that a width and/or height of the conveyor channel is adjustable at least in certain areas or sections.
