BELT SCRAPER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A BELT SCRAPER
A belt scraper having a scraper element to be brought into abutment with a belt. The scraper element is pivotably arranged with reference to a pivoting axis. A spring element generates a torque acting on the scraper element. A sensor for determining a pivoting angle of the scraper element is a contactless sensor with an index part and a detecting part for detecting the position of the index part. The index part is arranged, at a distance from the pivoting axis, on a movable element that is coupled to the scraper element.
SECONDARY BELT CLEANER WITH MODULAR, TORSIONAL TENSIONED ARM AND REPLACEABLE BLADE TIPS
A secondary belt cleaner system for cleaning the surface of the return side of an endless conveyor belt. The system includes a plurality of blade devices that are rotatably biased against the return side surface using a respective torsion spring therein. Each blade device includes a head portion formed by a blade support and a replaceable blade tip that is releasably secured to the blade support. The head portion is connected to one end of a blade arm and the other end of the blade arm is coupled to a rotatable shaft inside a housing that is fixedly secured to a support shaft having mounting brackets at each end for mounting the system transversely to the conveyor belt frame. Adjacent blade devices have different blade arm lengths in order to have the blade coverage overlap with no gaps in between. Because these blade arm lengths are different and to maintain each blade tip in contact with the return side surface, the respective torsion springs in adjacent blade devices are pretensioned to different angular amounts.

Hygienic hollow frame assembly
A cleanable frame and a method for making a cleanable frame having a simplified frame design. A hygienic conveyor frame assembly comprises a plurality of hollow tubular sections joined together to form an evacuated, sealed conveyor frame support structure that functions as a sterilization zone. An integral carryway is placed on the support structure. Lifters coupled to the conveyor frame can lift the carryway and conveyor belt for cleaning. Infeed and outfeed assemblies are also movable between operating and cleaning positions. A sensor can monitor the conditions of the frame interior to ensure that the vacuum is maintained and initiate a corrective action if the vacuum seal is breached.
SCRAPPER SUITABLE FOR USE WITH A CONVEYING SYSTEM
There is provided a scrapper which can be suitable for use with a conveying system. The conveying system can include a conveying portion and a coupling part which can include a coupler. A coupler can be associated with a profile which can define the contour of the coupler. The scrapper can include a body portion which can include a coupling face and a scrapping face. The scrapping face can include one or more traveling portions and one or more contact portions. Matter carried by the conveying portion can be removed via the contact portion(s). When initial contact is established between the scrapper and a coupler, the travelling portion can make contact with the coupler in a manner so as to allow the scrapper to travel along the contour of the coupler.
