A device for singulation of used beverage or food containers received in bulk into individual objects, including: a first receiving area arranged for simultaneously receiving and keeping a plurality of containers; a second receiving area positioned at a higher vertical level than the first receiving area, wherein the device further includes a transporting device comprising a container elevating member for transporting a container from the first receiving area to the second receiving area wherein the elevating member is attached to said transporting device, moves along and is locked to a circumferential path around a first axis upon activation of the transporting device, and the first axis is inclined at an angle of 1° to 45° relative the horizontal plane.

A device for singulation of used beverage or food containers received in bulk into individual objects, including: a first receiving area arranged for simultaneously receiving and keeping a plurality of containers; a second receiving area positioned at a higher vertical level than the first receiving area, wherein the device further includes a transporting device comprising a container elevating member for transporting a container from the first receiving area to the second receiving area wherein the elevating member is attached to said transporting device, moves along and is locked to a circumferential path around a first axis upon activation of the transporting device, and the first axis is inclined at an angle of 1° to 45° relative the horizontal plane.

A grouping station for grouping pallets includes an inbound conveyor, which is a gravity conveyor. The grouping station includes a fixed-height pairing conveyor and a grouping conveyor with three height positions for different grouping functions.

A transport device comprises: a plate 10; an unloading apparatus 30 to push a plurality of articles 20 disposed on the plate 10; a conveyor 40 to transport the articles pushed from the plate 10; and a pusher 80 to push articles 20, from among the articles 20 pushed onto the conveyor 40, that have not tipped over back toward the plate 10, and to separate, on the conveyor 40, articles 20A that have not tipped over from articles 20Z that have tipped over.

A transport device comprises: a plate 10; an unloading apparatus 30 to push a plurality of articles 20 disposed on the plate 10; a conveyor 40 to transport the articles pushed from the plate 10; and a pusher 80 to push articles 20, from among the articles 20 pushed onto the conveyor 40, that have not tipped over back toward the plate 10, and to separate, on the conveyor 40, articles 20A that have not tipped over from articles 20Z that have tipped over.

This transport device is provided with: a support body 5 having an upper part on which a plurality of articles can be arranged; an unloading device 30 which pushes the plurality of articles 20 arranged on the support body 5; a belt conveyor 40 which transports the articles pushed out from the support body 5; a slider which moves the articles 20 arranged on the support body 5 and also moves the article 20 arranged on the conveyor belt 40, thereby separating the articles 20; and a lift 80 which is disposed between the support body 5 and the conveyor belt 40 and which rises to a higher position than the upper surfaces of both the support body 5 and the conveyor belt 40 when the articles 20 arranged on the support body 5 and the articles 20 arranged on the conveyor belt 40 have been separated.

According to the present invention there is provided a feeding assembly comprising, a track along which components can be moved, said track comprising a sloped surface and a ledge, wherein said sloped surface slopes in a direction which is perpendicular to the direction which the components move along the track so that the components are maintained in a tilted orientation as they move along the track; a pickup platform which comprises a pocket which can receive components from said track; wherein the feeding assembly further comprise a pivot on which the pickup platform can be selectively rotated between a first position and second position, wherein in its first position the pocket is aligned with the track and the pocket is parallel with the sloped surface of the track, so that a component can move from the track into the pocket of the pickup platform, and in its second position the pocket is in a horizontal orientation. There is further provided a corresponding method of feeding components and a component handing assembly which uses the feeding assembly.

A processing system including a singulation system is disclosed. The singulation system includes a conveying system for moving objects to be sorted from a source area along a first direction, a detection system for detecting objects at the conveying system, and for selecting certain selected objects for removal from the conveying system, and a removal system for removing the certain selected objects from the conveying system for providing a singulated stream of objects.

A processing system including a singulation system is disclosed. The singulation system includes a conveying system for moving objects to be sorted from a source area along a first direction, a detection system for detecting objects at the conveying system, and for selecting certain selected objects for removal from the conveying system, and a removal system for removing the certain selected objects from the conveying system for providing a singulated stream of objects.

A cascade conveyor for sorting and conveying container closures, such as for conveying and sorting screw closures in a drinks filling installation, comprising at least one sorting bar which can be moved in a conveying direction and which is orientated transversely relative to the conveying direction for conveying the container closures from a collection receptacle which receives unsorted container closures to a closure unloading zone. There may also be provided in the closure unloading zone a conveyor belt which extends when viewed in the gravitational direction below the sorting bar in order to laterally discharge container closures conveyed by the sorting bar.
