Reel line spooler
Apparatus and methods are described for spooling line on and off of a reel using a turnbuckle mechanism that is adapted to securely fit between two opposing handles on the reel and includes a power driver attachment for quickly turning the tumbuckle mechanism.
Electric reel
An electric reel according to one embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a spool around which a fishing line is wound; a motor having a motor shaft and driven for rotating the spool; a one-way clutch provided for preventing reverse rotation of the motor; a motor shaft fixing member fixed to the motor shaft; and a one-way clutch shaft member fitted into the one-way clutch. The electric reel is configured such that rotation of the motor is transmitted to the one-way clutch through the motor shaft fixing member and the one-way clutch shaft member.

Fishing rod assembly with integrated energy storage
A fishing rod assembly for electrically powered fishing reels includes an integrated battery power source located in a removable rod butt of the fishing rod. The rod butt assembly of the fishing rod interfaces with the bottom end of the reel seat with mating male/female ferrule and electrical connectors. A wiring harness extends up through the inside of the reel seat to a power connector egress body located above the reel seat.

Display system for visualizing fish strike data in electric reels
A display system for visualizing fish strike data in electric reels, comprising a rotation speed detection unit configured to determine the line speed of a fishing line, a current detection unit and a voltage detection unit configured to detect system current and voltage values, and a memory unit configured to store a rotation speed relationship table and a power relationship table. A coefficient calculation unit substitutes the detected values into respective relationship tables to calculate a line speed coefficient and a power coefficient, which are then integrated by a fish strike data calculation unit to calculate fish strike data, with the fish strike data being visualized on a display device.
