Marine containment device
A marine containment device is disclosed for containing a marine species. The marine containment device comprises a container defining an interior chamber. An aperture is in the container for inputting and outputting the marine species relative to the interior chamber. A closure door closes the aperture. A hinge pivotably couples the closure door with the container. A first flotation body is coupled to the first side wall and a second flotation body is coupled to the second side wall for providing a positive buoyancy while holding a portion of the body of water and marine species within the chamber when the container defines a horizontal position within the body of water. The rear end defines a linear plane for positioning on the surface and maintaining the container in a vertical position while holding a portion of the body of water and marine species within the chamber.
Fish weigh-in bag support and fill system
An apparatus and system is disclosed for facilitating an angler in placing fish into a weigh-in bag from a boat's live well. The apparatus includes a post for inserting into a seat post receiver of a boat, and has a hook on its top for receiving handles of a weigh-in bag. The apparatus also preferably includes a fill tube connected to the pumping system of a boat's live well plumbing system. The apparatus holds and fills the bag in a position and location convenient to allow an angler to use both hands to retrieve a fish from a live well and then insert the fish into the bag.

Rod that traps creatures safely and monitors their well-being
This invention includes several variations of a machine for catching small creatures unharmed, particularly small fish and other aquatic creatures. Most embodiments include a hollow container, attached to a specially designed fishing rod via an insulated fishing line containing electrical wires. The user can lower the insulated fishing line into water and wait for a creature to swim into the hollow container, then the user can use electronic controls to remotely snap the hollow container shut, hopefully trapping the creature alive and unharmed within. The invention also makes a fun and interesting tool for children. Embodiments of the invention include the ability to monitor the temperature and other conditions inside the container, and also the ability to communicate remotely with the container, and monitor the conditions therein, through a program downloaded on the user's computer or phone.
