Conveyor

A conveyor may include a track, a material carrying assembly, a powered member, a stationary frame and two movable frames configured for a movement in a relationship to the stationary frame by way of track assemblies mounted stationary on an interior of the stationary frame and roller assemblies affixed to the two movable frames. The material carrying assembly moves in a vertical direction between two positions to allow material movement in a first direction along the track and in a second direction being perpendicular to the first direction. A conveyor may also include a track, a material carrying and two or more powered members coupled to the material carrying assembly and configured to move the material carrying assembly in the vertical direction.

A shoe outsole dispensing apparatus having a dispenser located above the conveyor carrying adhesive-coated shoe outsoles that are classified into left outsoles and right outsoles and that are dispensed such that the left outsoles to a first side of the conveyor and the right outsoles to a second side of the conveyor is provided. A controller controls the operation of the dispenser. As a result of the outsoles coated with adhesive being automatically classified as left and right outsoles by the dispenser, and the outsoles are dispensed on opposite sides of the conveyor carrying the outsoles, this has the result that productivity of assembling shoes greatly increased as a result of the ability to dispose outsoles very quickly compared to the prior art operation of manually sorting the outsoles, and also the occurrence of shoe defects due to manual errors may be prevented, thus enhancing shoe quality.

A typing off-loading and item separation system to automatically separate different parcel types includes an feed conveyor, receiving conveyor, sorting conveyor, cameras and photoelectric eye. Overhead cameras and/or photoelectric sensors detect the item size and whether it is cubic in nature and type and size of its footprint. An in-line slide sorter having alternating conveyor rollers and pop-up belts pass through to, or divert items from a downstream conveyor. A vison based system may also be used to detect space between articles and insert articles in the unoccupied space to maximize conveyor area, volume, or density by controlling conveyor speed.

CONVEYING DEVICE WITH TWO CONVEYING CARTS, AND COVERING MEANS FOR COVERING AN INTERSPACE BETWEEN THE TWO CONVEYING CARTS
20200231387 · 2020-07-23 ·

A conveying device (1) has conveying carts (2) arranged one behind another and spaced apart by an interspace (4). One conveying cart (2) has a cover (6) and another has a cross-belt conveyor (8) for conveying material transverse to the conveying direction. The cover (6) covers the interspace (4) between the conveying carts (2) so that the cover (6) of the one conveying cart (2) is under the upper run (21) of the transverse belt (10) of the other conveying cart (2). When negotiating curves, the cover (6) engages between an underside (22) of the upper run (21) and a first support plane (20) to hinder the transverse belt (10) from moving in the transverse conveying direction. When travelling straight ahead the cover (6) engages between the first support plane (20) and a second support plane (24) to permit movement of the transverse belt (10) in the transverse conveying direction.
