A luggage conveyor device for efficiently supplying a plurality of inspection objects to be inspected or individual items in general to an inspection device (4) is provided. The conveyor device (1, 2, 3) is particularly efficiently designed such that an inspection object inspection is carried out quickly and smoothly. A correspondingly designed method for operating the conveyor device (1, 2, 3), and to a computer program product including control commands for implementing the method or operating the conveyor device (1, 2, 3) are also provided.
CAN BODY MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
While deterioration in processing efficiency caused by printing devices with slow printing speed is suppressed, facilities necessary to manufacture can bodies are able to be shared. A can body manufacturing system includes: a can body conveyance route, by which can bodies are conveyed, provided to branch halfway and thereafter merge again, the can body conveyance route at least including a first branching conveyance route and a second branching conveyance route; a first printing device performing printing on can bodies conveyed by the first branching conveyance route; and a second printing device performing printing on can bodies conveyed by the second branching conveyance route, the number of can bodies on which printing is performed by the second printing device per unit time being different from the number of can bodies on which printing is performed by the first printing device per unit time.
TRAY SEALER WITH TWO-LANE CONVEYOR ARRANGEMENT AND CONVEYING METHOD
A tray sealer comprises a conveyor arrangement for conveying packaging trays along a conveying direction. The conveyor arrangement comprises a first conveyor device for conveying a first line of packaging trays along the conveying direction, a second conveyor device running laterally alongside the first conveyor device for conveying a second line of packaging trays along the conveying direction, and a center guide which is arranged between the first conveyor device and the second conveyor device and extends along the conveying direction. The conveyor arrangement further comprises a third conveyor device for conveying packaging trays along the conveying direction. The third conveyor device extends adjoining the second conveyor device in terms of the conveying direction laterally alongside the first conveyor device.
Conveying system for conveyable and non-conveyable articles
A conveying system is disclosed. The conveying system may have a first conveying apparatus that conveys a first article to a first location. The conveying system may also have a second conveying apparatus that conveys a second article to a second location. The conveying system may have a frame, a chute connected to the frame, and a third conveying apparatus. The chute may convey the first article received from the first conveying apparatus to a discharge location. The third conveying apparatus, disposed below the chute, may convey the second article received from the second conveying apparatus to the discharge location. The chute may be movable relative to the to the third conveying apparatus, such that the first or second article may be selectively conveyed to the discharge location via the chute or third conveying apparatus, depending on the position of the chute relative to the third conveying apparatus.
METHOD FOR MERGING, WITHIN A LOGISTICAL WAREHOUSE, K INCOMING FLOWS OF PAYLOADS INTO ONE OUTGOING FLOW
Method for merging, within a logistical warehouse, k incoming flows of payloads, transported respectively by k FIFO conveyor lanes a.sub.i with i∈{1, . . . , k} into one outgoing flow of payloads transported by a collector conveyor. The k lanes are distributed along the collector and numbered a.sub.1 to a.sub.k. Δ.sub.i is a time-related distance between the lanes a.sub.1 and a.sub.k. A control system obtains a set L having n payloads distributed on the k lanes and having to be injected into the collector to form an exit sequence; computes a date t.sub.0 at which the first payload σ.sub.1 of the exit sequence σ passes in front of the lane a.sub.k; and computes n dates of injection of the n payloads into the collector, as a function of t.sub.0; and commands the collector and the k alleys, for an injection of the n payloads into the collector in compliance with the injection dates.
Method for sorting conveyed objects on a conveyor system using time control
In a first step of a method for bundling conveying streams on a material handling element including a number of incoming conveyor segments, at least one coupling to an outgoing conveyor segment, on which the incoming conveyor segments converge, and a number of holding devices for holding a conveying stream on the incoming conveyor segments, target arrival times, at which the objects arrive as planned at a destination, are calculated for the conveyed objects. A conveyed object is released at a release time which substantially corresponds to the target arrival time minus the target pass-through time required for the conveyed object to be transported as planned from a current position to the destination. A material handling element carries out the method.
Method and system for conveying articles
A method of conveying articles includes moving a first plurality of articles in a first input lane and a moving second plurality of articles in a second input lane in a downstream direction to a lane combiner, and operating the lane combiner to combine the first plurality of articles and the second plurality of articles into a combined plurality of articles in an output lane. The operating the lane combiner includes engaging a first article from the first plurality of articles with a first combiner wheel, engaging a second article from the second plurality of articles with a second combiner wheel that is out of phase with the first combiner wheel, rotating the first combiner wheel and the second combiner wheel to move the first article and then the second article into the output lane, the combined plurality of articles includes the first article and the second article in sequence.
PROCESS FOR CONTROLLING A CONVEYOR LINE FOR ITEMS OF GENERAL CARGO THAT HAS BEEN ADDED BY RETROFITTING
A process for controlling a conveyor line for general cargo is provided, the conveyor line including a plurality of consecutive conveyor line portions, each of which is driven by a drive. The drives are controlled by a computing unit using a machine learning model. The machine learning model accomplishes this by getting first input data on the basis of current operating information from at least one further conveyor line that it does not control. The machine learning model has previously been trained using second input data on the basis of operating information of the at least one further conveyor line. The operating information of the at least one further conveyor line in this instance relates to measured values from sensors for detecting general cargo and speeds of conveyor line portions.
