MERCHANDISE SORTING DEVICE AND SORTING PLATE
A merchandise sorting device includes a conveyance path, a chute, and a sorting plate. The conveyance path includes a placement surface on which an item is placed, and along which the item moves. The chute is inclined downward from the conveyance path and forms an inclined surface on which the item can be slid. The sorting plate is provided at a lower end of the chute and is rotatable about an axis paralleling an edge of the lower end of the chute to open and close the lower end of the chute.
VERY HIGH-SPEED LINEAR SORTATION CONVEYOR WITH DYNAMIC RECIRCULATION CAPACITY
A material handling system includes a very high speed linear sortation conveyor that receives articles at an operating speed of 650 to 700 feet per second (fps) and up to 100 fps with gapping as small as one inch. In one or more embodiments, a recirculation sortation conveyor receives articles that are not diverted by the linear sortation conveyor with dynamic capacity sufficient to handle a high speed shutdown of the linear sortation conveyor. The recirculation sortation conveyor is itself a very high speed linear sortation conveyor having a pusher pre-sort feature that can distribute received articles at different lateral positions on an endless conveyor to align with more than one recirculation sortation conveyors that may be operating at a slower operating speed. In an exemplary embodiment, the recirculation sortation conveyor has a divert section for diverting articles to a divert target on a lateral side.
A RESERVOIR FOR ROD-LIKE ELEMENTS FOR TOBACCO INDUSTRY
A reservoir (1) for rod-like elements (R) for tobacco industry, configured to be connected to a first feeding duct (2), to a second feeding duct (3) and to a receiving duct (10) for receiving the rod-like elements (R) from the reservoir (1), wherein the reservoir (1) has adjustable capacity and is coupled with filling level sensing means (14, 15) for sensing a filling level of the reservoir (1). The reservoir comprises two chambers (12, 13) having adjustable capacity and separated by a partition (24). The first chamber (12) is coupled with a first filling level sensing means (14) for sensing a filling level of the first chamber (12), and the second chamber (13) is equipped with a second filling level sensing means (15) for sensing a filling level of the second chamber (13).
Empties sorting device and empties return system
An empties sorting device includes a sorting table with a table surface, a feed section, and a discharge section. The discharge section has a dividing device with at least one section partition wall. The device further includes a conveying device, which is designed in such a way that the empties can be transferred from the feed section to the discharge section, and a guiding device with a guiding element, designed to be movable at least into a first guiding position associated with a first collecting channel, and a second guiding position associated with a second collecting channel, and a controller designed to control the movement of the guiding element into the first and second guiding positions in accordance with the type of empties. A discharge section partition wall between the collecting channels can be moved parallel to the table surface, thus allowing an associated collecting channel size to be varied.
Orientation changing apparatus and enclosing-and-sealing system
An orientation changing apparatus includes a transport path along which a transport object is transported and that includes a portion having a space; a changing unit that changes an orientation of the transport object transported toward the space, the changing unit changing the orientation in the space by applying a rotational force to the transport object in a direction that crosses a transporting direction in which the transport object is transported; and a receiving unit that receives the transport object after the orientation of the transport object is changed by the changing unit.
SUPPLY APPARATUS
A supply apparatus (10) includes: a blocker (13) disposed at a fork (12) between a main conveyance path (11), a first conveyance path (12A), and a second conveyance path (12B), the blocker (13) making a switch between a first state where supply of articles from the main conveyance path (11) to the first conveyance path (12A) is blocked and a second state where supply of the articles from the main conveyance path (11) to the second conveyance path (12B) is blocked; and a controller (20) that transitions, based on respective conditions of supply of the articles to two adjacent combination weighing mechanisms (1A, 1B), the blocker (13) into at least either the first state or the second state to switch a route of conveyance of the articles.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING OBJECTS
A system for identifying an object including a conveyer mechanism, a diverting bar, a counterweight, an object collector, an object inspector, and a selection arm. The diverting bar includes a body which may be positioned at least partially over the conveyer mechanism as to divert one or more objects of a plurality of objects traveling on the conveyer mechanism. The counterweight is coupled to the diverting bar and applies a biasing force against the one or more objects as to reduce the force applied to the plurality of objects. The object collector may be positioned adjacent the conveyer mechanism and is configured to accept an object from the conveyer mechanism and inspect the object for at least one marking. Once inspected, the selection arm is configured to deliver the object to a target position or back to the conveyer mechanism based on at least one marking.
SWITCH FOR A CONVEYING LINE FOR TRANSPORTING A LABORATORY DIAGNOSTIC VESSEL CARRIER
A switch for a conveying line for transporting a laboratory diagnostic vessel carrier is presented. The conveying line comprises a first line portion and a second line portion. The switch comprises a curved first guiding surface and a second guiding surface. The switch is moveable between a first position, in which the laboratory diagnostic vessel carrier is transportable along the curved first guiding surface from the first line portion to the second line portion, and a second position, in which the laboratory diagnostic vessel carrier is further transportable along the second guiding surface on the first line portion. A switch assembly and a conveying line are also disclosed.
Brush diverter
A material handling system includes a belted conveyor that longitudinally transports low profile articles. An actuating mechanism selectively positions a counter rotating cylindrical roller brush diagonal across the conveyor surface to divert the low profile articles to a lateral destination off a side of the belted conveyor and can position the cylindrical roller brush away the belted conveyor to allow the low profile articles to transport to a longitudinal destination at a terminal end of the belted conveyor.
