RECIPROCATING MOTION SIGNATURE MONITORING AND TREND ANALYSIS SYSTEM
A diverter system includes a diverter arm operated by an actuator assembly. The actuator assembly moves the diverter arm between an extended dwell position and a retracted dwell position. The position of the diverter arm is monitored by a sensor. A control system derives a motion signature of the diverter arm based on the positions of the diverter arm measured by the sensor and evaluates the motion signature of the diverter arm to identify an abnormal operation of the diverter arm.
PRODUCT DIVERTER FOR A RECIPROCALLY MOVABLE CONVEYING DEVICE
An automated product diverter for a reciprocally movable conveying device generally provides a stationary base; a reciprocally movable conveyor bed supported by the stationary base; a product diverter that moves in an arc along a product transporting surface of the reciprocally movable conveyor; and an actuator carried by the stationary base and which operatively communicates with the diverter arm, and the reciprocal movement of the conveyor bed and the diverter arm is isolated from the actuator carried by the stationary base.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING OBJECTS, INCLUDING AUTOMATED RE-CIRCULATING PROCESSING STATIONS
A method of processing objects using a programmable motion device is disclosed. The method includes the steps of providing an input conveyance system by which input bins of objects may be provided to a processing station that includes the programmable motion device that includes an end effector, perceiving at the processing station identifying indicia representative of an identity of a plurality of objects at an input area of the input conveyance system, grasping the an acquired object using the end effector, moving the acquired object toward an identified processing container using the programmable motion device, the identified processing container being associated with the identifying indicia and said identified processing container being provided as one of a plurality of processing containers at the processing station, and providing an output conveyance system in communication with the processing station, by which processing containers that contain processed objects may be provided.
SPHERICAL PLAIN BEARING
A spherical bearing assembly includes a shaft extending through an opening of an inner ring, the inner ring having a spherically curved outer surface, a clamping sleeve on the shaft, the clamping sleeve extending through the opening of the inner ring, and an outer ring having an inner surface complementary to the outer surface of the inner ring. The inner ring is mounted in the outer ring with the outer surface of the inner ring slidably supported by the inner surface of the outer ring.
Conveying storage device and corresponding method
The disclosure relates to a conveying storage device for containers, said device comprising: a first conveyor/second conveyor which is drivable in a first direction/second direction; a transfer device for transferring containers from a first conveying surface to a second conveying surface; an additional element; and a separating element. Between the transfer device and the separating element is a passage region along a transition region between the first and second conveying surface. The transfer device is movable into an emptying position during an emptying process. The additional element is movable during the emptying process relative to the transfer device, is introducible into the passage region or is located in the passage region, and can move containers to the second conveyor.
Automatic rake sortation
An inventory management system can include a tray, a tine, and an actuator. The tray can have a body defining a slot extending along a length of the tray and through a front and a rear of the tray. The tine can be sized to fit through the slot. The actuator can move the tine into a deployed position in which the tine is arranged to pass through the slot and contact an item in the tray to cause the item to fall out of the rear of the tray as tray moves by the tine. The actuator may also be capable of moving the tine into a stowed position in which the tine is arranged to avoid extending through the slot as the tray moves by the tine.
Product diverter for a reciprocally movable conveying device
An automated product diverter for a reciprocally movable conveying device generally provides a stationary base; a reciprocally movable conveyor bed supported by the stationary base; a product diverter that moves in an arc along a product transporting surface of the reciprocally movable conveyor, and an actuator carried by the stationary base and which operatively communicates with the diverter arm, and the reciprocal movement of the conveyor bed and the diverter arm is isolated from the actuator carried by the stationary base.
Hybrid diverter with multi-action transfer bar and method of using same
A hybrid diverter includes a base and a transfer assembly. The base includes a base frame and base rollers rotationally supported on the base frame to define a base path for passing the items therealong. The transfer assembly includes a transfer drive and a transfer bar. The transfer drive includes first and second independent drive tracks. The transfer bar has a fixed end connected to the first independent drive track and a slotted end movably connectable to the second independent drive track. The transfer bar is movable by the first and the second independent drive tracks along a variable transfer path about the base. The transfer bar has a surface for engagement with the items whereby, upon activation of the first independent drive track and the second independent drive track, the transfer bar selectively diverts the items away from the conveyor path.
