A capsule mass measuring device includes conveyer roller 10 and measurement device 20 having measurement plate 30. Conveyer roller 10 is provided with protrusions 12 and accommodation parts 13 formed between adjacent protrusions 12, and each of which accommodating the capsule such that a longitudinal direction of the capsule is arranged along rotation axis 11a. Measurement plate 30 is provided with groove part 32 and the measurement plate is arranged such that the capsule in accommodation part 13 is supplied to groove part 32, by a rotation of the conveyer roller, during a period after the capsule passes through the lowest point until rotating 45 degrees, and the capsule of which the mass has been measured is discharged from measurement plate 30 by contacting one of protrusions 12, which is defined as one protrusion, due to the rotation of conveyer roller 10.

An automated method and system for transitioning a bottle from a horizontal belt conveyor to the entrance of an air conveyor, and vice versa, from an air conveyor to a horizontal belt conveyor. An indexer in a circular arrangement moves around 180 degrees clockwise until the bottle drops into the air conveyor (e.g., pneumatic tube). This motion controls the bottle's movement; otherwise, the bottle would free-fall off the conveyor. The indexer rotary device provides control of the vial transition, keeping it vertical so it goes into the tube in a controlled manner.

A load assembly includes a supply mechanism structured to supply a plurality of container closures, and a conveyance assembly comprising a star wheel including a number of load pockets structured to receive the container closures and move the container closures from the supply mechanism to a processing assembly. The star wheel has an outer perimeter. Each of the load pockets is structured to receive a corresponding one of the container closures inboard of the outer perimeter of the star wheel.

An apparatus for equipping tampon applicators with tampons includes an encircling guide arrangement with an entry point, at which the tampon applicators are fed into the apparatus. A guide unit conveys tampon applicators on such apparatus, and a method equips tampon applicators with tampons.

One object is to provide an electron beam sterilization apparatus for sterilizing a preform product (P) by applying an electron beam while conveying the preform product (P), the apparatus comprising: an input star wheel (21) configured to convey the preform product (P) in a circular path; and an outer-surface electron beam application device and an inner-surface electron beam application device configured to apply an electron beam to the preform product (P) being conveyed by the input star wheel (21). A blocking short tube (31) is provided on a lower surface of the star wheel plate (22) of the input star wheel (21) so as to block radioactive rays produced by application of the electron beam and surround a central axis (1v) of the input star wheel (21). The blocking short tube (31) includes a ventilation space (34) formed therein.

Unit for the attachment of mouthpieces to cigars having: a first belt conveyor provided with first pockets, which are designed to contain respective cigars, so as to feed the cigars along a straight attachment path; a second belt conveyor arranged parallel and next to the first belt conveyor and provided with second pockets, which are designed to contain respective mouthpieces, so as to feed the mouthpieces along the attachment path; and a coupling device provided with at least one pushing member, which is arranged along the attachment path in the area of an attachment station and is movable along an attachment direction that is perpendicular to the attachment path, so as to push a mouthpiece carried by a second pocket towards a corresponding cigar carried by a first pocket and then attach the mouthpiece to the cigar.

The present invention relates to a device for ejecting products in a unit for processing said products, a flow of said products moving one behind the other along a circulation trajectory.
