FLY FISHING REEL WITH BRAKE ASSEMBLY AND METHODS
A fishing reel and related method include a housing, a spool, and a brake assembly. The housing includes an external circumferential surface and an internal circumferential surface. The spool is configured to have a length of fishing line wound thereon, and is rotatable relative to the housing about a rotation shaft. The brake assembly is mounted to and rotatable with the spool. The brake assembly includes a plurality of pivotally mounted pawls. The plurality of pawls each include a contact surface arranged facing the internal circumferential surface. Rotation of the fishing reel upon the fishing line being pulled out of the fishing reel when a fish pulls on the fishing line causes a centrifugal force that moves the contact surface of the plurality of pawls into contact with the internal circumferential surface to reduce a rotational speed of the spool relative to the housing.
FISHING REEL ELECTROMAGNETIC BRAKING DEVICE, FISHING LINE AND SPEED MEASUREMENT MECHANISM
A fishing reel for fishing, a fishing line and a speed measurement mechanism. The fishing reel comprises a fishing reel electromagnetic braking device for winding and releasing a fishing line by rotating a winding reel. The fishing reel electromagnetic braking device comprises: a braking mechanism provided with a braking coil and a magnetic braking member, a guide ring speed measurement mechanism, a rotation detection mechanism, and a controller. A line output speed of the fishing reel and a tangential speed of the winding reel rotating to release the fishing line are measured in real time, and are compared to control a braking force of the winding reel according to the difference therebetween, so as to achieve closed-loop control, thereby improving the stability of the braking effect. The fishing reel electromagnetic braking device can automatically correct the braking force, automatically set and store parameters, and reduce the complexity of parameter setting.
BRAKING SYSTEM FOR FISHING REEL
A braking system for a fishing reel is provided, which belongs to the technical field of fishing reels. The braking system includes a braking piece, the braking piece being configured for braking the fishing reel; a detecting device, the detecting device being configured for generating a detection signal according to a rotation speed of a spool; and a control device, the control device being electrically connected with the detecting device and the braking piece respectively, and configured for perform flexible control on a braking force of the braking piece according to the detection signal.
FISHING REEL
A fishing reel is provided. The fishing reel includes a body, an end cover, a bearing, a spool portion and a brake system. The end cover is mounted at an axial end of the body, the end cover is formed with a first wall portion, and the first wall portion defines an accommodating cavity at its radial inner side. The bearing is embedded in the accommodating cavity. The spool portion is provided with a spool shaft, and the spool shaft is rotatably supported on the bearing in the accommodating cavity at its axial end. The brake system includes a coil and a magnet, the coil is mounted on one of the first wall portion and the spool shaft, the magnet is mounted on the other, and the coil and the magnet are opposite to each other along the radial direction of the spool shaft.
DEVICE FOR MOUNTING FISHING REEL BRAKE SYSTEM
A device for mounting a brake system of a fishing reel is disclosed. The fishing reel includes a body, a first end portion, a spool portion and a brake system. The brake system is mounted to an end cover of the first end portion through the mounting device, and the mounting device includes a plurality of first snap-fit portion and a plurality of arm portions. The first snap-fit portions are arranged at the end cover. The plurality of arm portions are arranged at intervals in a circumferential direction at an opening of a mounting cavity of a mounting base of the brake system. Each arm portion extends from one end of the mounting base in an axial cantilever manner, a second snap-fit portion is provided at a tail end of each arm portion, and each second snap-fit portion is elastically snap-fitted with the respective first snap-fit portion.
