A reel braking adjustment device includes a tensile force-related information acquisition unit and a braking parameter correction unit. The tensile force-related information acquisition unit is configured to acquire tensile force-related information. The tensile force-related information is information that is related to tensile force acting on a fishing line and detected during a fishing line discharge period in which the fishing line is released from a dual-bearing reel configured to brake rotation of a spool based on a braking parameter. The braking parameter correction unit is configured to correct braking parameters based on temporal changes in the tensile force-related information acquired by the tensile force-related information acquisition unit.

FISHING REEL PROVIDED WITH FIXED CONSTANT BRAKE AND MOVABLE INERTIAL FORCE BRAKE

A fishing reel provided with a fixed constant brake and a movable inertial force brake is provided. In the fishing reel, a user may adjust a braking force to use according to his or her fishing method by utilizing only advantages of conventional centrifugal brakes, magnet brakes, and inertial force brakes, the advantages including prevention of pad wear, prevention of casting distance reduction and backlash when a spool rotates at a low speed, compatible use tailored to left-handed or right-handed handles, etc.

Magnetic damping mechanism of a fishing reel

The present invention discloses a magnetic damping mechanism of a fishing reel, including a carrier having a magnet, a damping disc disposed on reel shaft and being rotatable together with the reel shaft, an adjustment knob partially exposed out of the side cover, a driving member engaged with the adjustment knob, and a base connected to the driving member. The base has a through hole for receiving the damping disc; a main spring, which enables the rocker arm to always have a trend to rotate away from the damping disc, is disposed on the base. When the magnetic lines are cut and the induced current is generated when the damping disc rotates together with the reel, the rocker arm is drawn close to the damping disc in the axial direction, to generate a greater damping force. That is, the faster the reel rotates, the more the rocker arm is drawn.

A braking force control device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure is a braking force control device provided with a spool pivotally supported by a reel body, the spool on which a fishing line may be wound, a rotational speed detection unit that detects a rotational speed of the spool, a braking unit that generates a braking force to the spool, and a braking force control unit that controls the braking force of the braking unit, in which the braking force control unit adjusts the braking force according to elapsed time from when casting starts or detection information of the rotational speed detection unit.

DRAG DEVICE FOR FISHING REEL USING FLUID RESISTANCE
20240000056 · 2024-01-04 ·

The invention relates to a drag device for a fishing reel using fluid resistance, comprising: a housing (3) constituting an outer body; a resistance fluid filled in a hydraulic chamber (C) in the housing (3); rotary blades (5) rotatably built in the hydraulic chamber (C) together with the resistance fluid; and a rotary shaft (7) rotatably supported by the housing (3) so as to rotatably support the rotary blades (5) in the hydraulic chamber (C), wherein when a rotational torque greater than a preset torque is applied to a spool (10) of the fishing reel shaft-coupled to the rotary shaft (7), the rotary blades (5) are configured to rotate in a direction that unwinds a fishing line together with the spool (10) while overcoming the fluid resistance of the resistance fluid. As such, when the rotary blades of the rotating shaft rotate, a drag force is generated on the spool of the fishing reel by means of shear resistance of the resistance fluid generated between the rotary blade and the resistance fluid surrounding same, such that damage or failure of a device can be greatly reduced. Therefore, it is possible to significantly increase the longevity.

A fishing spinning reel that eliminates problems associated with line twist by providing a rotor adapted for both forward and reverse rotation wherein a drag assembly applies drag to the rotor using an adjustable cam mechanism to prevent the rotor from imparting twist on the line when in the winding mode. By enabling the rotor to rotate in a reverse direction with the application of drag the present invention prevents line twist when fighting a fish by allowing the rotor to rotate in a reverse direction to let out line and/or to remain stationary as the handle is cranked thereby preventing the rotor from imparting twist on the line.
