A bin exchange system is disclosed that includes a plurality of automated carriers, each of which is adapted to be remotely movable on an array of track sections, at least one input station by which bins may be introduced to the array of track sections, at least one processing station in communication with the array of track sections wherein objects may be moved between bins, and at least one output station by which bins may be removed from the array of track sections.
Conveyor system
A conveyor system includes multiple carts that move along a rail. The rail includes a top panel upon which a vertical wheel of the cart is supported, along with a first side panel defining a channel within which a horizontal wheel of the cart is retained. One or more connector rails extend along the rail, and the cart is electrically connected to the one or more connector rails.
CHAIN CONVEYING MECHANISM AND ARTICLE SORTING SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of sorting, and in particular to a chain conveying mechanism and an article sorting system. The chain conveying mechanism provided by the present disclosure includes: a chain transmission mechanism, including a chain and a sprocket, wherein the chain is driven by the sprocket to rotate; a cart, arranged on the chain and rotating along with the chain, wherein the cart includes a cart body and two wheel groups connected to two opposite sides of the cart body, and each of the wheel groups includes a first wheel and a second wheel arranged intervals on the same side of the cart body; and linkage mechanisms being in one-to-one correspondence with the wheel groups, wherein each of the linkage mechanisms connects the chain with the first wheel and the second wheel, and enables the first wheel and the second wheel to swing relative to each other to change a distance between the first wheel and the second wheel. On such basis, the turning stability of the cart at the sprocket is effectively improved.
Cross-conveyor sorter with clearing apparatus, and method for removing items misplaced on a cross-conveyor sorter
A cross-conveyor sorter with a clearing apparatus for removing misplaced items (Sd) is described, wherein the cross-conveyor sorter has a plurality of carriages which are connected to one another on an endless conveying track, the carriages are provided with a cross-conveyor device, which is oriented transversely to the transportation direction (x) and on which the items (Sp) can be transported and unloaded at predetermined unloading locations. The cross-conveyor sorter clearing apparatus enables the risk-free removal of misplaced items (Sd) during operation. The clearing apparatus is a blow-off device which is arranged on a first side alongside the conveying track.
