An automated carrier system is disclosed for moving objects to be processed. The automated carrier system includes a discontinuous plurality of track sections on which an automated carrier may be directed to move, and the automated carrier includes a base structure on which an object may be supported, and at least two wheels assemblies being pivotally supported on the base structure for pivoting movement from a first position to a second position to effect a change in direction of movement of the carrier.
INCLINATION COMPENSATING DEVICE FOR A CARRIAGE OF A CONVEYING DEVICE
An inclination compensating device for a carriage of a conveyor device for the horizontal transport of conveyed material, wherein a drive element is driven via the pivot drive, which drive element is fastened to an end of a pivot lever extending away from the inclination compensating element, which end is opposite the inclination compensating element, and which drive element has a drive axis arranged parallel or perpendicular to the pivot axis, wherein the drive element rolls on at least one guide, in particular extending equidistantly to the pivot axis, in particular in a force-locking or form-locking manner, which guide is mounted or formed on the holding frame.

DEVICE FOR TRANSFERRING ITEMS TO BE CONVEYED BETWEEN TWO CONVEYOR DEVICES AND A CONVEYOR SYSTEM AND A TRANSFER METHOD
A transfer device for transferring items to be conveyed, such as flat goods, from a feed conveyor to conveyor spaces of an onward conveyor. The transfer device forms a stationary receiving space for at least one item to be conveyed, the receiving space being delimited at the bottom by a movable support element. The support element is movable via a displacing device between a support position, in which the at least one item to be conveyed lies flat on the support element, and a delivery position, in which the item to be conveyed falls, under the influence of gravity through a released transfer opening downwards, and onto a conveyor space of the onward conveyor that is displaced past below the receiving space.
ROBOTIC PUT WALL SYSTEMS AND METHODS WITH MOBILE DESTINATION LOCATION ASSEMBLIES
An object processing system is disclosed that includes an object induction station at which objects are provided for processing. The object induction station includes at least one perception unit for providing perception data regarding an object, and an object processing system for receiving objects from the object induction station, and for urging an object into a first end of one of a plurality of chute location, each of which including a first end that is accessible by the carrier and a second end that is accessible by a mobile destination container of a plurality of mobile destination containers.
Position detection system and travel system
A position detection system includes: two magnet rows including a plurality of magnets arrayed cyclically and repeatedly with an array pattern as one cycle in a detection direction, a magnet in the magnet row and a magnet in the magnet row facing each other at surfaces having different polarities at a specific position in the detection direction; a magnetic sensor disposed between the two magnet rows, a relative position of the magnetic sensor relative to the two magnet rows in the X-axis direction being variable; and a determiner that determines a position of the magnetic sensor in an predetermined direction relative to the two magnet rows based on a detection value of the magnetic sensor.
METHOD FOR SORTING ARTICLES, AND SORTING DEVICE
A sorting device and a method for sorting articles at delivery points are shown, the sorting device having a conveying device comprising transport platforms that are movable along a transport direction for transporting the articles and for delivering the articles to the delivery points, with the transport platforms having a bearing surface for the articles and with at least one transport platform having a first delivery device for vertically delivering the articles from the bearing surface to at least one first delivery point. To provide a sorting device for reliable and careful joint sorting of articles with different transport and delivery requirements, at least one transport platform has a second delivery device for laterally delivering the articles from the bearing surface to at least one second delivery point.
CONVEYING DEVICE
A conveying unit that includes a base body, a conveying member with a rest element forming a rest surface and receiving a conveyed object, an inclining body that is connected to the conveying member, and an inclining mechanism for inclining the inclining body and, with this body, also the rest surface, with respect to the base body towards a delivery side for the purpose of delivering the conveyed object. The conveying member includes an encompassing frame that at least partly encompasses the rest surface of the rest element for the object to be conveyed and can therefore secure the conveyed object against sliding away from the rest surface, and the encompassing frame can be lifted to above the rest surface or be lowered to below the rest surface via control elements on the conveying unit, on inclining the inclining body to the delivery side.
ARTICLE SORTING DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of logistics sorting, and in particular to a article sorting device. The article sorting device according to the present disclosure includes: a sorting track, including transition tracks and multiple layers of main tracks, wherein the transition track is connected to the same ends of the two adjacent layers of main tracks in a first direction, and the two adjacent transition tracks in a height direction are located at two ends of the main track in the first direction; and a sorting mechanism movably arranged on the sorting track to load an article, configured to unload the article in a second direction when moving to a set sorting position along the sorting track, wherein the second direction intersects the height direction and the first direction. Based on this, the occupied area of the article sorting device is effectively reduced.
A DEVICE FOR FEEDING ITEMS TO A SORTING MACHINE AND SORTING MACHINE
A device for feeding items to a sorting machine, including: a conveyor plane (26) for feeding items or parcels along an advancement direction (A1); an optical detection device (18), to allow the acquisition, while the items are in motion on the conveyor plane (26) of the three-dimensional coordinates of a determined number of points on the surface of the items and to organize them into coordinate vectors; a manipulator (19) provided to pick the items from the conveyor plane (26) and to place the items picked in a desired position; a control system, provided to process, for each item in motion on the conveyor plane (26), the coordinate vectors in order to obtain a three-dimensional representation of the item, including the information based on which the control system handles the manipulator for picking and placing the items.
The invention also relates to a sorting machine and a method for feeding items to a sorting machine aimed at increasing production capacity and accuracy thereof.
